This is what happens when producers know a girl doesn't have anyone to defend her. They know they can push a girl or take advantage of her.

Sadly it's not the first time something like this has happened nor will it be the last. I'm just really glad she spoke out about it. Good for her!

So glad I just shoot straight dudes with a rotation of a couple solid reliable girls on hand. Model drama sucks my condolences to all involved :thumbsup

Nubiles has shot thousands of girls over the last few years and most of them left pretty happy but its impossible to have a perfect record and sometimes people do have conflict. We respectfully disagree with some of the things said there and some of it is flat out not true. She never ever had any direct contact or communication with any of the owners. Either way the company sent her an apology for her experience with the booking agent and she never responded and continued to carry on bashing us. If she and other people here want to try to make Nubiles look bad, let them. Most of the people who work with us know we do our best but no we aren't perfect.

Yes it works both ways, we wont be hiring models anymore who are independent unless we already have a working history with them.

Lyra - That was fucked up shit going down. No ifs, ands or buts... However, one bad producer (not owner) didn't mean the entire barrel is bad. Like going to one restaurant in a chain doesn't mean you know the entire national makeup of the restaurant chain.

Nubiles - You can be more apologetic and possibly make note that the producer didn't speak for the company or the decade of relationships nubiles has had with thousands of models.

Dont know him or where he shoots, but in Cali, the penalties are steep for not paying same day...

If a director/producer doesnt pay the same day as the shoot, the penalty is the talent's rate everyday until payment is made up to 30 days...

For example, $1000 scene rate gets you $30,000 in penalties if the talent isnt paid until the 31st day after the scene. And if the director/producer bounces a check instead of just not paying - well that penalty doubles to $60,000.

Always pay same day.

After doing a little (admittedly late) due diligence, I now regret posting that link as I'm convinced that there's more smoke than fire here.

To be fair to Bill and the Nubiles organization, I've never heard any model say anything bad about them, and my dealings with them have always been marked by courtesy and professionalism. I also take the rants that models post on Twitter, GFY, etc. with a very large pinch of salt--believe it or not, some of these models are frequent, fluent, and credible liars, though some of the Captain Save-a-Ho types here will beg to differ.

Over the nearly twenty years I've been shooting porn, I too have had a few incidents where girls turned something minor into huge dramas, to the point now that I'm wary around girls with certain personality types. And if a girl shows up on my set even a tiny bit intoxicated on whatever, I refuse to shoot her and send her on her way.

This kind of drama is occasionally par for the course when you've been shooting for a while. Ultimately, for those of us who've worked in the business for many years, if we have good reputations and are well regarded by our peers, we can always fall back on that as evidence we've always behaved to the highest standards in the past, and are thus probably not guilty of any wild charges leveled against us.

The truth is this kind of thing happens all the time its why performers really do need a union because the FSC is not going to intervene on a performers behalf nor will most if any "agents"

Now I know as well as anyone that a performers union simply isnt going to happen, many have tried but the transient nature of performers combined with the fact that most are really just not very smart is what allows this sort of thing to continue.

Its sad but its a fact of life in this biz.

He used to be a director for Team Skeet but they fired him obviously over this ordeal. But guys like this don't go far. He'll be around soon, trying to shoot content with someone else.

I don't know Bill and don't know Nubiles. Is this just another situation where an independent producer is stressed out financially and just trying to eek out an existence so he tries to salvage a shoot somehow? Then the company he is shooting for gets blamed because they have a "name" and can be shamed more effectively.

Of course when the girls act like victims in order to get out of shooting that day or just decide to not show up for whatever reason they are held responsible and have to pay costs. Right?

Every time a guy gets "exposed" by a female where she makes herself look like a victim and the highly predictable white knights and dumb emotional cunts pile on to shame him I wonder to myself if I should feel sorry for him or not because it is very likely he is also a clueless White Knight who just got unlucky.

Social media + female emotional basket case "victims" + white knights + dumb cunts of the sisterhood = complete circus

Or Lyra could of course be a real victim and all the blame should go on to the producer and or company. She obviously should not be blamed if she simply wants to avoid a face full of cottage cheese which is what a good yeast infection tends to resemble.
