it's kinda sad what has happened in recent years, universities have always been a place where people could share opposing views, debate them, etc... now any opposing viewpoint is labeled as "hate speech", "racist", etc and any attempt to discuss such a viewpoints results in protests and rioting... :Oh crap

Everything the president does involving money has to pass through congress. That's the checks and balances in our government.

Congress would have to pass a law citing free speech as a reason to withhold federal funds to colleges. That's a can of worms that will never be opened in America.

Berkley is in California and we send the feds more money than we get back, 77 cents on the dollar. You'd be suprised at the number of Trump States that are welfare States getting more from the feds than they put in, California subsidizes many Trump States.
