Do affiliates still use these promo tools?
Peel Ads, POTD (Picture of the Day), or Flash Ads?
I assume all of these are obsolete now but wanted to confirm before removing from our affiliate program. |
We still have some affiliates sending to POTD, but I suspect those are all really old links.
|
I am a big fan of POTD, don't get rid of it.

The flash ads are officially dead but potd may still be useful.

I use picture of the day with a few sponsors that have actually bothered to keep it updated. It does ok, given the effort required.
|
POTD's work fine with CyberSEO 7. The POTD URL can be used to make self-populated pinterest-like sites for example. Something like this: NASA Pictures Of The Day | Self-populating binboard or like this: Man Pinner

i do good with picposts :thumbsup
|
Peal adds and flash are dying and should be taken out. POTD seems to be the only one still hanging on out of those 3.

I think I will make a legacy affiliate tool section -- too many choices confuse the buyer and he does nothing but; I'll have to think about it. Same is true for affiliates selecting a sales tool:2 cents:

POTDīs great, the rest are obsolete because flash.
Most sites these days live on social media unless the siteīs established for traffic. I offer new images every day on social media, not sure if MC could offer a pic of the day, iīd like that for my affiliates :2 cents: |
I used to use page peels to cover up the "flag" link on Thumblogger blogs... :upsidedow
|
Thanks guys...think I'll keep the POTD (and maybe update it) and remove the flash and peel ads.
|
Yea, keep POTD and flush flash :)
