Why WASN'T the last play reviewed ..?

are u fuckin kidding me? The announcers are too busy, on Brady's nuts already...and not even doing their jobs correctly...while everybody storms the field.

THAT PLAY WAS SUPPOSE TO BE REVIEWED. Any type of super close call at the end MUST be reviewed. NFL policy. WTF HAPPENED ?

ohhh thats right, it's the P-A-T-R-I-O-T-S ....that big-money team. If they do something good, the refs look the other way... I forgot.

This is an outrage.

#2 that was NOT pass interference a few calls earlier either. The guy just threw his hands up.

Spunky 02-05-2017 09:31 PM

He was in.Regardless Falcons let it slip ..they had it but blew it themselves

EonBlue 02-05-2017 09:39 PM

Ya, he was totally in on that last play. He "broke the plane" as they say.

It's all over but the crying now. For the losers anyway.

Maybe a review should have been done, but even if it was reviewed,it's still a TD. Only the tip of the ball needs to he over the white line for it to be a TD.

And it was PI..the defender had his arm in the receiver's chest before the ball got there. Doesn't matter what the receiver was doing.

Boozer 02-05-2017 09:40 PM

all scoring plays are automatically reviewed. I was hoping like hell they found him short.

look at it again, I watched 5 times already .

they normally NEVER call it on that tender amount. he threw his hands straight up, not even towards him.

1 bullsht ref call...and 1 non-review on that drive. they should of called everybody off the field, saying the play is still under review...but no, everybody was already on Brady's nuts at that time.

I just saw somebody tweet - "ohh , looks like the snowflakes are angry the falcons lost"...

really.. ? I guess everything/anything goes for 'snowflakes' now.

VikingMan 02-05-2017 09:54 PM

What about the bad call when the patriots player jumped over to block the field goal? I think that was at the beginning of the 2nd quarter.

That WAS pass interference and that WAS a touch down. This is the most delusional thread in a long time.

Want more WIN? Here you go.....

Trump predicted Patriots would win by 8 and he was only off by 2 points! In fact they could have scored 2 more points but the game is officially over as soon as they score a TD so no opportunity for a 2 point conversion at the end.

and my argument was why wasn't it reviewed on-spot. not if it did or didn't cross the plane.

Spunky 02-05-2017 10:37 PM

Bastards. shakes fist in air.damn those patriots!

Harmless error at best. Review would not have changed the outcome.

It was pass interference because he was playing the man and not the ball.

Most likely they did review the play. If they discovered the original call was in error they would have had to get everyone off the field. Because the play stood the game was officially over at that point, so no need to make an announcement.

It wasn't a choke. Falcons played nearly flawlessly..

They never reviewed the play...the refs headed for dee hills like little panzies when everybody charged the field.

since I still can't sleep....decided to analyze the 4th quarter more carefully...and

O
M
G

more stuff..

1) The ref was 5 yards away, staring at both players when that double-facemask incident occurred...that even the announcers mentioned, and no flag thrown. It would of cancelled out the holding penalty against the Falcons...and they probably would of won it right there with that field goal.

2) sooo many holding incidents against the Patriots, that were NEVER called.. Notice how the Falcons were blitzing and getting to Brady so easily in the first half but not the 2nd? All these 'holds' prevented it...just goes to show how in-bed the NFL is with the Patriots.

classic case : 2:26 in the 4th....when Edelman makes that crazy catch off someone's foot. (or hand) Look at the friggin hold from the Patriots left guard on that play. Huge hold.....that was never callled. There's several other holds that weren't called either.

I'm not a falcons fan...but just wanted the game to be called right. It's beyond obvious how much the REFS did late in the 3rd quarter and the whole 4th quarter ....and OT to hand the Pats this win on a silver platter. The more I watch this, the more I can't believe it. ..use common sense guys...no super bowl team in history has ever come back and won from being down more than 10+ points ....and they were down by 25 points !!

Falcons played amazingly well, and did not choke. The refs won it.

john1975 02-06-2017 09:01 AM

once again, the game was 100% fixed.

The refs at times threw penalty flags they shouldn't of thrown.

The refs at times didn't throw penalties, that they SHOULD of thrown.

how come the media is accepting it all like "la la la....o well. Falcons choked". (when they didn't)

This. Falcons got some very fortunate calls in the first half too, in other games they might not have been called and the game would be different. Patriots deserved the win, Brady is the best ever, his wife is hot as fuck and Falcons lost it after going behind by one scoring drive. Game. Over. :thumbsup

Bullshit! The NFL hates Brady! You must not watch must not watch much football. I pay for the NFL package so I can see every Cardinals game in Indiana.

My point is every scoring play is reviewed quickly and if they had any doubt they would've put it under official review but the call was an easy one to make.

Atlanta blew the game in the 2nd half big-time other than the one score they made.

beerptrol 02-06-2017 01:02 PM

Here's a little info cupcake. The replay official in the booth reviews every touchdown

As others have said, every scoring play is automatically reviewed by the booth. The play was reviewed, there is no "on the spot review" of any scoring plays. If the player had been deemed to be short of the goal line, the refs would have been notified by the booth and the game would have carried on. If you are new to the nfl, then I understand, but I get the feeling you are completely oblivious to how things work in terms of the referreeing.
