Attention all tube site owners, this concerns you!

I have a question about your site. How important is the user registration and upload feature to your site. Is it still profitable without a "community" aspect to the site?

Hold on there for another minute... The upper management departments of Porntube, Pornhub, Youporn and Xvideos will soon have a webconference about how to best formulate an answer to this question!

I have users registering but not many are uploading. If you want to upload on my tubes, hit me up.

If the registration process is too much of a hassle, people wont bother. There are reasons bigger tube sites add an extra ten layers to their registration process. But if just starting out, too much paper work will scare people away.

FYI most content on bigger tubes comes from content partnership programs, paysites they own, pay sites they affiliate market for, and their own teams of uploaders.

Most of it really isn't coming from random users.

You really think smaller tubes get content from uploaders? LOL

If you are implying that user piracy is what makes tubes run (and is thus destroying the industry), think again. Here in 2017 you could wash exactly 100% of professional content from the web.... take it off the tubs, torrents, eliminate all paysites, etc.... these tube sites would still have an abundance of amateur content (thrill seeker and semi-pro selling from their bedroom). We are way beyond the point where removing illegitimate uploads would revive the traditional paysite model. The legitimate uploads ensure that the traditional paysite model is permanently crippled.

I'm actually surprised that the MFC/Chaturbate business model hasn't evolved into something new yet. They are already at the doorstep of the old school paysites. When they do take that next step, it's sayonara to the paysites as we know them today.

I'm just saying, this issue is so much bigger than a bunch of unauthorized uploads on tube sites.
