Guys, what advice would you give to your newbie self (when you were starting AM) from your current perspective? :)

P.S. 1 person - 1 piece of advice

Keep it all in plastic bags and never be tempted to flush.

get some real eduction and stop wanking on internet aka "affiliate manager " job


learn marketing/self teaching

Officially learn coding from A-Z not piecemeal, save yourself wasted time.

broaden your interests, you'll have more flexibility later

Set Goals. As in this week/month/year I want to achieve/complete "......"

"Beware of music!" ...

Don't post on GFY with real business questions :thumbsup

Don't sell that domain so cheap.

Do not spend too much time here, focus on achieving your goals.

Turn your back on politics :stoned

Put half of my earnings in savings..

Buy traffic from the guys in my sig they are awesome and traffic is great!

Instead of making your own product/website, learn how to market other people's products/websites for pay. That way you always get paid instead of sometimes being paid and sometimes wasting time on bad ideas.

Trust your instinct. You have everything you need. Find what works best for you and don't try to follow in the footsteps of others.

Probably the only useful one in this thread. Compounding is key, start saving and investing at 21 and retire comfortably at 40, or sooner depending on your income level.

I know, I'd be retired now if I saved my Thumblogger money and invested wisely.. :Oh crap

never be afraid to take risks, be different, try new things that fit you

watch, listen and learn to stay attuned to your environment to ensure those risks are calculated but after that?
