Code A Small WordPress Plugin

I need a small plugin coded for me. It's part of JetPack but I don't need the full plugin.

I want a script for various pages (registration, login, comment) that is like Captcha but different

"PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTION -- CORRECTLY -- TO REGISTER/COMMENT/LOGIN" (I'll choose the right word on each form).

Five + Seven = [ ]

The script should have an editable form where I can enter the question & answer. If incorrect, it brings them back to the form with OOPS! WRONG ANSWER. TRY AGAIN!!

Three tries, then they're banned for 60 minutes.

I posted this on the Wordpress site. One guy bid $100 because "his rent is due." Another wanted $350 and that was giving me a discount. How about $25 -- an hour -- but it will take five days?

The guy I chose has done work for me before. He will take an existing Captcha plugin and modify it. Custom coding is best but the budget doesn't stretch too far Years ago guys from foreign countries were dirt cheap. Now they want top dollar, payment up front (yeah, right) and list their former work sites as a resume, but I can't view the backend to test things.

I don't get why you need an custom plugin; Try SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam or Fast Secure reCAPTCHA by Mike Challis...

To secure your Wp site only a security layer on your login isn't going to do much.
Security plugins like Wordfence, Sucuri and Bulletproof Security could also do the trick.

There is no thing as bot proof; they evolve every day; but these plugins have proven them self over the years.
Most of the time a plugin ads an, to normal visitors non visible, extra box; logic is the bot will put some data in it, a visitor not.
Other ways are checking user agent, browser signature and blacklisting (email/IP addresses etc)

And as long as a plugin is released under the right licence you are allowed to rip it apart/clone it/modify it etc.
As long as you uphold the licence.

Thank you. My guy found a plugin that does exactly what I want. I only tested it once but it's great. Later I plan to try it on other sites.
