Best flatscreen for the upcoming war...

I don't have a television since a couple of years... lost interest with all the stupid broadcasts long ago...

But... with the upcoming war... I'm thinking about buying one...

Which brand; size; pixels; etc would be the best for watching a war?

NatalieK 04-11-2017 03:31 PM

if we have a war coming, you may want to think about a projector, smaller, more versatile & link it to your laptop.

You can watch it when you´re caught up in a cave deep under ground away from the nukes...

No kidding, right? I remember during the first golf war my girlfriend's father bought a huge TV just to watch the war on. Good times.

There will be no internet available during WW3. That's for sure. I'm inclined to think cable TV may also go down. They can control the pro-war propaganda on radio and broadcast TV. So be sure to have a TV antenna ready to install if you don't have one already.

If the Trump admin attacks North Korea, its really irrelevant what kind of TV you have because the battle will be going on for many years, well after what ever TV you purchase is obsolete. Long before then however China will probably stop Exports to the USA, payback for the North Korean refugee crisis created by the American bombing.

Plausible.

Agree, internet down, blame the other side for cyber.

I'm not sold on 4k just yet. I still like my Samsung 3D tv I picked up a few years ago.. 3d would make the war more interesting too. :2 cents:

I'm thinking US/Canada/Mexico follow the same blueprint from WW2 where global industry (minus north america) is bombed out. Then north american industry is strong after the war.

I don't think they can bomb out Chinese industry though. EMP and cyber attacks that take away their electricity for years would accomplish the same thing.

Forget investing in surround sound.

You'll hear it outside your windows anyways. It'll sound quite realistic.
