LinkSpun

Anyone here a member of linkspun, but not logged in a while ? It seems they hide profiles that haven't logged in a couple of months, so if its been a while you might want to login and see if there is any new trades to be had :)

Like any free service on the net, its only as good as the people that participate. I've been on the site for about a month and have come up with a number of great trades. I saw some posts here on gfy about there only being link farms to trade with, which is not the case that I found. In fact most of the trades that I've made had fewer than 20 or so outgoing links on them.

If you haven't tried the site out before, its free to use, and there are a number of ways to filter down trades to fit your niche.

Thanks!

True but I think that good back-links coming into a site help with serps, and when they are abc or abcd that can't be seen as a quid pro quo, then Google doesn't seem to be able to track and penalize those trades.

I like the site because it allows me to trade with same niche sites. There are some issues with the reporting numbers, as you said PR is no longer used, but MR/DA/PA seem to lag, in fact I've had pages up for almost a month and they haven't been updated on anything but the incoming and outgoing links on my pages.

The site is just part of the process, but it helps to find similar sites, you can see if they have low incoming/outgoing links, then do your research on the domain and make sure it's a domain you want a link from. I've found more good trading partners versus domains with just link farms, and then there is always the decline button and the block user button which helps weed out the people you don't want to deal with any more :1orglaugh

And of course it let's me know if a trade has been taken down or changed which is nice to have alerts keep me up on trades!

haven't logged in for months, got tired with dead links, expired domains etc

I think they tighten down how long domains show up in the search area, if you haven't logged in the last couple of months they fall off the search page.

You should at least log back in, and see if it's gotten any better :thumbsup

There are good sites to trade there. Selecting the best will benefit you both.

I agree :thumbsup

Someone needs to do a quick tutorial on the in's and out's of linkspun, something to give a new user a quick start on how to find and make good trades.

It's a good service. Simple to use and easy to track and links that have been removed.

Great service. If anyone wants to trade, contact me! :)

Unfortunatelly i can not reach support/owner several months ago. Any contact info?

Linkspun is kind a obsolete and have some structural bugs. For example, if you buy a site from someone, and he have it set on linkspun already, then you cant add it there.
I made a project plan for link exchange service which would be much more advanced and efficient , i just dont have will to work on it.

I think I saw on the support board where they will move the urls under a new owner for a small fee.

I wouldn't call it obsolete, I think maybe it needs a tune-up :) But for a free services it goes a long way too helping manage link trades!

It still serve the purpose, but SEO is something what changed on fast pace hence calling it obsolete.

True you have to be selective of the links you trade and make sure your trading with sites that aren't link farms :)

I use LS because I don't have to worry about watching for links dropping or getting changed out.

Again, anyone one that hasn't used them before or if its been a while since you've been on the site, might be worth your while to login and see what is available to trade with :)

Just went back on after I had to delete a lot of trades one to one, when I went to look at the sites I had them on a lot websites were gone or my link not there..I like link spun cause its abc, it will let you know if one has been unlinked or a nofollow..

You too.

I've picked up 20 or so trading partners that I would have never gotten had it not been for LinkSpun :)

I just logged back in after a few years and now I must say it's pretty cool and useful.

I've started to see a lot more names under the search when I login, it was pretty quite when I first started, here is a bump to spread the word and get people back on LS :1orglaugh
