The are other factors like VAT and GST to be considered.

comparing ALL taxes (including sales, excise, vat, etc) is probably more meaningful? what good is for example low income tax, if when you spend the $$ you have to pay 50% sales tax?

I wanted to make a point to all the ones crying that US taxes should be more -- share the misery?

Your chart has a double edged sword however -- it justifies why there will be a proposal for a VAT tax in the USA eventually.

No, the green is wage earners income tax -- Denmark is the highest, then Iceland
red and brown are social benefits -- look at the legend at the top.
