Is it worth running a banner campaign to get traffic?

Im considering running a banner ad campaign on juicyads however I'm worried that it wont be worth it. I hear the traffic that gets generated results in a lot of bounces.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Is there a better alternative to banner ad marketing?

Hey hey!

Banner traffic is one with the best quality for advertiser, so it is probably worth to try.
However it depends which niche would you like to work with, if it is dating - that this traffic source is perfect and will work well!

Is it a good idea to do this type of marketing for tube sites?

It's generally not worth spending money on any advertising unless you are certain you can recuperate your losses which obviously depends on your website niche and quality of it.

Paying for traffic is very unlikely to have an effect on your ranking and therefore it is entirely pointless to advertise your website unless you have a product or membership, etc.

If it's just a free tube website, it wouldn't be worth it and I'd recommend just sticking to direct and organic traffic generating methods.

Good luck!

Is worth if you know how to target.
from my side I can recommend trafficjunky - but remember TARGET is a KEY

Thanks for the advise, I used the money I was going to spend on banner marketing to buy fresh content instead

What if it works for you, Google and FB also throws lots of visitors, but do they convert to client, that's what we should look into?

Ask yourself how often you click on banners. Very targeted Adwords or JuicyAds might work.

It depends where you will send the traffic. but don't expect too much volumes as the CTR these days is not that big, so I will advice you to add other sourcetypes as well like pops or redirects. a combination of these 3 will be the best. but of course it's all about testing and optimization. But buying traffic from one tube and sending that to another tube will be useless.
In fact we work with many media buyers who buy traffic from websites directly or adnetworks and they send the traffic to us and we monetize it, based on the volumes that seems to be a profitable case ;-)
