The SEO game is ever changing but to answer your question, yes they have a chance, just as much of a chance as last week or last year. The key is to keep up with the changes as best you can.

Blogs was never ranking good anyway, they were always for ranking on long tail keywords only.

Blogs are still excellent for adult especially when it comes to organic traffic.

i had a 30k blog way back. out of box it won't rank well. you have to add stuff lol
