Fires blaze through the forests killing many, burning cars on the road, it´s the worst fire for many years in Portugal & has become very tragic!

It started in the early hours of last night and over 200 fire fighters have been dealing with the flames, with Spanish fire fighters helping out too!

omg, if this was a terror attack with 10 people being killed or a Trump story, people would have so much to say...

even an RIP would have been an acceptable post for these poor Portuguese :(

Was it a tragedy of nature, carelessness or arson?

If arson it may have been a terrorist event?

sadly it´s the heat, a natural disaster.

Heat in an ambient form (the weather) does not start fires. Lightning strikes do -- during heat waves there is more readily combustible fuel for a forest fire.

Many recent fires, especially in urbanized areas, in the USA have been from arson or careless campfires.
