How fast is your Internet?
|
I'm pretty happy with mine. Though the reality is, you could have a 1Gb speed internet pipe and you're still only going to be as fast as the slowest hop on the route.

Fast, but never fast enough sometimes. I've never had home wifi I'm happy with.
There's at least a few times a week where my kid is streaming a Netflix movie, I'm watching YouTube and my wife is streaming something on her Phone and the load is too much. |
Fast as fuck. Its the speeds I only ever dreamt of years ago... The one service that I am completely 100% satisfied with is my internet. Worth EVERY FUCKING PENNY !

Hope to get fiber soon. We are getting ripped off in Canada

Mine's only around 10 to 12mbps... :(
|
Verizon 4G lite limited to 30 gigs cost $120 a month and as slow as shit ( actually shit moves faster:1orglaugh) . Thats what you get for living in East Bum Fuck Maine :error
|
I am living in a place where the internet speed is always top 2 or 3 in the world.
In my home internet it's 300mbps+ and worth just around $15 per month. That includes cable TV connection of around 100+ channels. I can upgrade the speed to 500mbps and i will just add $5. In our office, it's supersonic. :) |

I´m in Spain where it´s finally gone cable, we´re just on 30mb down & 5mb up, it´s perfect for updating my sites, my hires cam & downloading what I need inc. 50 stations on TV for 30? a month. Although, for they do a 100mb service for 50? a month but half price for first year, we contemplated this... but seemed pointless when our service does what we need. |
Not fast at all.
Fuck you sky... |
Australia started rolling out a national fibre network but part way through decided to cut costs and switch to a copper VDSL solution instead.
Everyone is being forced to move from the established, typically overengineered carrier provided ADSL network, to the national network's brand new, shitty and unstable VDSL based solution. It gets worse, because it's also replacing the overengineered analog phone system with a VOIP based solution. When the broadband network fails, or the power goes out for more than a few hours, no one is able to make phone calls. |
speed of fart ...

Can't complain when I know others are suffering with shit like 30mbps and have no other options.

I´m not understanding what´s wrong with 30mb, i´m offered 150mb here but not needed, what do you need it for? Upload to me is important for cam, anything less than 4 is not good. But 5, I can update sites at the same time as running 1.5mb on cam, which is a top quality service :2 cents: |
|
1gb fiber, only available in certain places in the Netherlands.. Did multiple speed test on my xbox and highest was 870mb down..
Really happy at €1 a day |
I'm in Silicon Valley less than a mile from an Equinix datacenter and I can't even get fiber still. Have to pay Comcast $50 extra to not have a 1 TB cap.
|
Certainly faster than I need it to be :)
