Mobile paysite
 

Hey people!

Lot of years out of gfy, but I'm back :)

During last 10 years I was working in mobile payment business, and I've a few questions to you, I don't know what's the status of the adult market right now.

It's profitable to make an adult website and use credit card as payment in mobile phones? Other payment methods?

Has the business changed due mobile and tablet irruption?

I see new paysites, but I see old ones closed or without activity and I've lot of doubts. In my new company we want to start again in the porn biz and i'm not sure if revenues are enough at the moment.

All big porn paysites work well on mobile these days, and there are people subscribing sites from desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Mobile is not a genre, it's just a platform. I don't think a thing like "mobile porn site" makes sense anymore. Mobile users and desktop users have the same taste in porn. You need to make a good site with unique content that people want - and make the user experience nice on all platforms, from desktop to mobile. It makes no sense to exclude any of them, as all platforms are good revenue streams.

If you don't have exclusive, unique, exciting content, you have to be VERY good at marketing to succeed.

FWIW -- I think larger tablets offer more opportunity.
Their owners have more money to spend. This doesn't mean that your site is not discovered on a hand held device.
