Trump did donate $1 million

Just announced that it was split between 3 agencies, Red Cross, United Way types.

Sorry snowflake, he did it.

BobJones123 09-06-2017 06:34 PM

Yes with $100,000 to Samaritan's Purse, an evangelical Christian aid agency run by Franklin Graham, the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham. Franklin Graham has been a key political supporter of Trump's: Last month, while Trump was under fire for his comments about the violence in Charlottesville, Graham publicly defended Trump and said the blame lay instead with Satan.

This is where Trump’s $1M Harvey donation is going | New York Post

Quote:

President Trump?s $1 million donation to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts will go to 12 separate organizations, including the Salvation Army and the Red Cross, the White House announced Wednesday.

The Salvation Army and the Red Cross will each receive $300,000, while Reach out America and Samaritan?s Purse will get $100,000 donations.

Trump and his wife, Melania, are also giving $25,000 to both the ASPCA and Catholic Charities.

?The President and First Lady witnessed the work of some of these groups first hand while visiting with hurricane survivors, first responders, volunteers, and Federal, State, and local officials, and are proud to further assist the recovery efforts in Texas,? the White House statement reads.

?Several of the following organizations were recommended, at the invitation of the President, by members of the White House Press Corps, and he would like to thank those who made recommendations for their attention to this important cause.?

The rest of Trump?s $1 million donation will go to Direct Relief, Habitat for Humanity, Houston Humane Society, Operation Blessing, Portlight Inclusive Disaster Strategies and Team Rubicon.
It has been pledged but has not actually been donated yet.

So, we will see.

Nice to see people helping.

Republicans considering $1 billion disaster relief cut to help fund Trump's wall

1 billion cut from disaster relief to build a wall - but he's a great guy cause he allegedly gives 1 million from his own pocket.

Some people are really gullible idiots.

letīs put this into perspective, he made a million over the past few vacations with the security & other people paying for drinks, rooms & dinners at his golf courses, all paid for from government money straight into his pocket.

Letīs also appreciate how a hurricane has bought the American people together, unlike Trump, he created arguments, fights, brawling, riots & deaths with cities smashed up & statues taken down. Straight forward, Trumpīs your biggest disaster ever!

Did not DONATE ... but pledged ... quite a difference....

The Daily News said that in the weeks after the attacks, Trump pledged $10,000 to the Twin Towers Fund as part of a charity effort that radio host Howard Stern was pushing.
Reality:

Quote:

New York City?s comptroller has found no evidence that Donald Trump gave $10,000 to a fund for 9/11 victims after the terror attack, and concluded that the GOP nominee ?may have lied? about making a donation.

The office of Comptroller Scott Stringer conducted a review of donation records to the Twin Towers Fund and the New York City Public/Private Initiatives, Inc., to see if Trump had donated after the 9/11 attacks.

?Contrary to Donald Trump?s claims, the Comptroller?s Office found no evidence of a donation by Mr. Trump in the year following the attacks,? according to an ?Information Sheet on 9/11 Donation Review? provided to NBC News on Friday that summarizes the office?s findings.
more FAKE donations .....

Rochard 09-07-2017 07:32 AM

It doesn't seem trump (lack of capitalization intentional) hasn't donated shit. In fact, it seems trump has a long history of making promises and never following through on them.

Trump?s Inauguration Pledged Millions to Charity. To Date: Zero Given.

We already know exactly how this will play out.

CaptainHowdy 09-07-2017 07:33 AM

Are donations are argument?? I don't know ...

Oh wait, so as usual baddog was wrong.. Trump hasn't yet donated anything just claims he will still..

Also the money is coming from his fake charity fondation scam which he hadn't put any of his own money into since 2008..

Ie once again Trump is maybe going to donate other people's money and take credit for it..

Its not even coming from Trump's pocket. It's coming from his foundation which is money from other doners who put on events at his properties.

As usual his million dollar donation is just a scam if he even donates it. People like baddog are too stupid to see this for what it is, because he's more worried about trying to prove he was right than look at actual reality.

You hate that it is coming from his personal funds, don't you?

I thought they said it was coming from his foundation... Which didn't make much sense, being as the foundation is under investigation.

Also Trump hasnt put any of his own money into his foundation since 2008. Its money he collects by doing charity golf events and so on so he can use the events as tax write offs.. He also pockets largevamounts of the donations at these events by charging his own foundation to use his properties..

Even if he donates the money and doest find a picture of himself he'd rather buy, its not his money but other people's donations that he's collected in the name of other charitable events.. ie he's now taking money that was donated to other causes and using it for his self promotion..

Meaning it would be like the CEO of Red Cross saying any red cross donations came from him personally..

Busty2 09-07-2017 02:28 PM

It will never happen :thumbsup

This right here is a huge part of the problem. Some people believe in everything Trump says, without seeing that every thing he says is complete and utter bullshit. He says anything he wants with zero proof of anything and people just suck it up and believe it all.

So here we are with a 35% approval rating.... What a fucking joke.

Helix 09-07-2017 08:51 PM
