Religous Freedom and Taxes

So, it should not be news that the Trump admin has reversed support that insurers must provide coverage for contraception.

The idea is presented that it infringes on religious freedom.
But I fail to see them unable to practice their religion in any way. It does not block anything.

But if you start a slippery slope for this, I have my own argument...
I don't think they should tax me because my religion says that KILLING for any reason is not part of my religion and I know that over 25% of the budget is spent making weapons for killing. Some more effective than others. Why should I have to pay for killing machines ?

How will they solve this ? I don't want to pay for KILLING, it's against my religion.

The separation of church and state was created to keep religion from infiltrating government rule of law.
Not to keep the government from intruding with for or against religion.
You have the freedom to practice your religion as long as it does not intrude on the rights of others.
For the world our founding fathers came from by it's founding, ruled by the church.
Much the same as it is still practice in Iran and some other countries currently.

And this is a attempt to put religion back into the law making process.
While that might be ok for some, what happens when the religion changes.
I elect politicians not the Pope, Gadadhar Chatterji, Imam, Patriarch, or Dalai Lama.

To quote Capt James T. Kirk.... What use does GOD have with a star ship !
It all becomes a question of power, and who has it. Apparently, not the majority and not the rule of 'we the people' law.
For even Christianity teaches to respect and to obey the law of the land even if it disagrees with your teachings.

Slavery was somehow justified in words of the bible by those that practiced it.
Don't allow them to smudge the constitution in the same manor.
The fuzzier they make it look, the easier it is to intrude on your life and have the law on their side the whole time.

In the free market dynamic it is insignificant.
Workers (employees) will just leave these companies if they disagree with their benefits -- or they will just pay out of their own pockets.

Maybe 30% of Americans are bible thumpers -- A substantial number are Mike Dence's guys ... throw a political bone to the dog (god spelled backwards).

There are bigger problems to deal with

They did this in Texas and immediately teen pregnancies skyrocketed. Republicans do the same dumb things over and over and again expecting it to work right this time! They truly are dumb fucks..

When you have the Christian vote playing such a big part in who gets elected. Expect this shit to happen.

Church and State are about a separate as Big Money and State in the US. They may say they have no influence but in reality, they do.
