Which BTC wallet to use?
 

Hi!

So with BTC value rising I slowly feel dis-confident holding my BTC at an exchange service. I have a small amount of BTC on my PC at Electrum which I used to pay for a VPN. It was just a quick look so I don't know if this piece of software is any good or not. Any suggestions?

Hardware wallets are best.

Ledger Nano S or Trezor

Electrum is a good wallet.

I am broke, but I've heard people love Ledger Nano S.

It's the better of the 2 wallets - I've got both but don't use the Trezor anymore. The build quality is much better.

Ledger Blue is coming shortly - it will be even better but its much bigger and a bit more expensive.

Is the regular bitcoin.com wallet okay to use?

Not sure if I need a hardware wallet at this moment. Maybe when I'll have around 100k in BTC :)

About Electrum - should I store the wallet file at the default location and make regular backups to an USB..?

Roger Ver owns that site... so beware everything there. This guy says Bch better than Btc then when asked if he would trade 1 for 1 he says no lol
