Historically Americans do not like single party rule
and the recent Republican losses is an indicator that the Republican control of either the House or Senate will no longer be the case after the midterm elections. If the Donald wants certain things to be done it will have to be passed before the midterms as he more than likely will become even more of a lame duck President than he already is.

The problem is the extremes of polarity. How we evolved into a 2 party system in the USA proves either corruption and consolidation of power; or perhaps, a dumbing-down and lethargy of the US American voter. |
Humans are unable to govern themselves. The new world should and will be controlled by AI.

As far back as I remember we prospered the most when there were opposing parties in the whitehouse and congress My theory is that they spend so much time and effort trying to fuck each other they dont have time or energy to fuck us...except on things they both gree on......Ideally I like a conservative congress because thats where the laws and spending are created and a liberal president appointing supreme court justices....
