Unfortunately, there is not possible protection against CBs.
Try accepting bitcoins but you won't be able to auto-rebill users.

Rocket Gate can handle it. Or you can use whatever processor you land on and add services from chargebacks911.com or midigator.com

^^^ Great advice

CCBill is great at minimizing chargebacks too

Yep. I'd be happy to put anyone in touch with the right parties to get it rolling. I have a lot of experience with it.

What do you mean by 'chargeback protection'?
That they have tight fraud controls to prevent risky transactions ("scrubbing") or that if a customer disputes the charge, they'll dispute it on you behalf?

Larger processors at least when it comes to chargebacks generally will *not* dispute them as it's not worth their time. Some like Netbilling will automatically blacklist the subscriber from signing up again, but since they use your own merchant account, the way the chargeback is handled (accepted, disputed, credit issued, etc.) is totally in your hands.
