What are "typical" stats for Analytics "Shopping Behavior Analysis"

What's typical?

This month, I had:
7,388 sessions
480 with product views
27 with Add to Cart
6 with Check Out
2 with Transactions

I know that overall these numbers suck... .03% conversion. What I'm trying to figure out is where my biggest/unexpected drop-off is so I can focus my attention.

It seems like they enjoy adding them to their cart but not actually buying them!

of course, it does not tell us anything if we do not know what you're selling. Different niche have different conversions. But actually it looks very bad.

1. - check the competition.
2. - check your payment methods and delivery - emphasize your advantages / prices / delivery, etc.
3. - Look after non-adult stores
There is no philosophy here. see how top brands and shops play.

RE: competition: is there a way to get the data from my competition on their checkout drop-off rates? Or did you mean look at competition in general to see what they're doing?

The site is PeggingToys.com, a niche for women using strap-ons to penetrate men.

What do you mean by "look after non-adults stores"?

that's exactly what I wrote.
Why I don\'t see on your site that you have free delivery to the whole world
or is it not free? or maybe it's not all over the world.
there is no information about it! I suppose you have little conversion?

We offering free domestic shipping for orders over $75------ sounds like this either needs to be improved or to be more public.

I don't think we can offer free shipping worldwide due to international shipping costs. I could raise the prices a little and ship within the US for free tho.

For 27 ATC a good ratio would be 13 checking out and 6 buying. (/2 on each funnel step)
General issues are shipping rate too high and/or too many steps in ur checkout process.
Do you have the hand on your shipping rate? May you lower it and test?
Good luck!

If you are using Google Analytics as your analytics tool configure the events and the e-commerce part it will give you very specific elements to see where you are failling and where you can improve.
