The Republicans went all out to win and started attacking the Democrat front runner Hillary Clinton years in advance in a long string of politically motivated investigations (which still continue to this very day). The Republican party assumed they would have their candidate in office to get things done but instead they got Donald Trump. Now they are in a rush to get as much done as possible before shit hits the fan.

Everyone knows where this is leading... If we do not remove him because he is mentally unstable, or because he colluded with a foreign power to rig an election, we will remove him because he obstructed justice. All three of these are true.

I was a hardcore Republican under Reagan ("We were going to defeat the communists") and then I saw what the Republican party did to Bill Clinton. I don't care what your politics was - that was just wrong. Period.

Since then I vote for who I thin it the right person.

I liked McCain. He was my Senator when I lived in Arizona. He went to to Vietnam, called them gooks, and when everyone was stunned he stood by his comment - He was a POW and they did some nasty stuff. But McCain paired up with Palin and well, that was a bit much.

I liked Romney too. I bitched about his business model here on GFY but it's really nothing short of brilliant. He uses OPM - other people's money - to buy a business and then charges huge management fees. No matter what happens they make money. But in the end I thought we owed Obama the chance.

With the last race I had my favorite, and he was a a Republican. It was John Kasich. I would have picked him over Hillary. I would have picked Rubio or Hillary. I would never pick Trump over anyone. For me it was "anyone other than Trump".

This isn't a political issue for me. This is about my country. Everything Trump does is just wrong. It's like he has a decision between right or wrong, and he picks wrong every time. In the mean time he is a huge embarrassment.

Our election was influenced by a foreign power. This needs to be our priority. This is by far the most dangerous thing that has ever happened to our country. Yet for some reason we are doing nothing about it.

Then I consider you an Independent, like myself. Voting for the person you believe is the best candidate to actually DO THE JOB WELL regardless of Party is the absolute correct thing to do (IMHO).

But Trump is taking things to levels never seen before and those applauding his outrageousness do not seem to see through his bullshit. Who talks that way? Who conducts himself that way? Who communicates that way? While it's vastly entertaining on a rubbernecker level it's ultimately extremely dangerous.

I voted for Obama twice...I screamed at how it look like he folded like an old lawn chair on the things he promised to bring to the US. However, as liberal as I am...and I am a liberal. I voted for Trump. No matter how liberal I am I cannot stomach the regressive left that wants to sacrifice the 1st Amendment to support PC culture. The bill of rights are, in my opinion, sacrosanct. They should not be thrown away at the whims of any party or popular movement.
