This is the LAST movie before the ultimate Marvel fanboy movie, Avengers Infinity War. Can't wait for this one either.

Seen it yesterday. I really enjoyed it like i do all the Marvel films but i dont know why its getting praised as much. Captain America winter soldier, the first Avengers and a few other ones are better. Still well worth seeing though

This movie is being used by all the leftists, professional whiners and BLM victim crowd to praise it JUST BECAUSE it depicts black people as a superhero etc.

Remember when race didn't matter at all? Why wasn't this being said when Blade came out? It's like the western world was a lot smarter back then, now the sickening SJW agenda has taken over everything, and everything is about race nowadays.

I don't watch any superhero movies, mostly because I think they are lame and I also think Hollywood has gotten so lazy and supporting these movies continues to let them get away with it.

For some reason, all the hype for it being the "first black super-hero movie" bother's me.

The Meteor Man (1993) <-- OK to dismiss because it's a comedy, and not based on a comic.
Blade (1998) <-- Marvel's 1st commercially successful movie that I can think of.
X-Men (2000) <-- Halle Berry's role was small, but there.
Catwoman (2004) <-- Titular character for Halle, but the movie still sucked.
Fantastic Four (2015) <-- Re-imagined the entire origin in order to make the Human Torch black, but nobody cares.

I'm sure I've missed some, but these are the notable ones off the top of my head.

exactly, it's like Blade, a brilliant movie, is completely forgotten. I guess its because it was back in less divisive times when the race of a character didn't matter at all. It still doesn't matter to normal people but the media makes it such a big deal nowadays thanks to the leftist SJW crowd, which makes every single thing about a race. Racist fucks.

I remember seeing Blade in the cinema. The blood coming out the sprinklers at the rave scene is still superb. Blade 2 was great as well but the 3rd one sucked

Blade is fucking brilliant. I agree about 2 and 3. Blade 1 for me is in a league of its own. Love that movie.

There are too many good movies and series these days, which is great... Not enough time to watch it all, which is bad. Check out the trivia on imdb.com - it brings some interesting stuff.

Don't forget Spawn (1996) Loved the comic, and the HBO series. The movie sucked tho.

First, why do you care what anyone else says? Why don't you go to the movie yourself, see it for yourself, and decide for yourself?

It's a Marvel movie for fucksakes, about a character in the MCU, with a big budget and produced by Marvel and Disney. OF COURSE it has a good chance of being good.

You seem to be saying in your post above, that because you think it is being pushed as a "Black" movie, that you should automatically not see it for that reason. Weak tea.

I really liked all 3 Blademovies. The opening scene of Blade 1 (Bloodbath) was really fucked up. The story, acting, direction action in all 3 movies were good too. There was one bad CGI rubber-dude fight scene that was bad but I forget which movie that was).

I know Blade 3 slammed by alot of people but I liked it anyway. Ryan Renyolds was hilarious, and Jessica Biel was fucking sexy.

I saw it last night! [NO SPOLIERS]

Black Panther is good! It has a different "look and feel" than the last few Marvel movies, and the movie overall is a little slow-moving like an origin story. The acting is great and it's a perfect new addition to the MCU.

Here's what I wasn't expecting:

- Lots of black people in the audience were dressed up in beautiful African gear. Everyone was taking pictures in front of the giant Black Panther signs outside. Everyone was super proud to be there. It was as if this were a movie premiere event.

- Please applauded and cheered at the end of the movie. About 25% of the audience gave a standing ovation.

- The last post-credit scene had the audience cheering. I won't tell you what it is and if you're not into the MCU you won't get it, but of course, if you're into the MCU, you MUST stay until the very last frame.

Overall, good movie! My favourite is still Captain American: The Winter Soldier though. This one is probably impossible to beat in my opinion.

True it wasn't as good as 1 or 2, but I still enjoyed it. I think the first one is still the best, but the second one had some amazing violence and gore effects.

Yes but if you must, make sure you watch the Pink Panther with Peter Sellers, and not the gawd-awful Steve Martin version. Ack.

I think it was over hyped a bit.
