Tumblr Deleted All 35 of My Blogs

I never read the terms of most sites online because "aint nobody got time fo dat".

Im just finding out that Tumblr is against affiliate marketers, they consider us as spamming with links.

Have anyone else been having problems with Tumblr as far as using them to generate traffic?

They ban and delete alot of bligs without notice. They have a strict policy against affiliate links.

karolinaboy 02-16-2018 12:24 AM

Yup. Tumblr is a no go when it comes to porn. They also just started something new with the SAFE FEATURE. I logged in and all porn automatically was blocked out.

and they have been banning me for years but everytime I contact them and ask why they never had a good reason why. So tonight they told me its because of affiliate marketing and I am spamming. But it wasnt spam, plenty of people rebloged my post.

I always stay clear of this kind of free services... hours and hours of hard work can be gone anytime.

I still have some big adult blogs on there, but I never post any affiliate links or so.

OT just a little, Blogger used to be good. When GoOgle bought it, they made everyone move their content onto GoOgle servers. Easier to delete you. I was not going to move my content to GoOgle servers.

I kept my content on my own servers and still get some traffic and conversions many years later.
But nowhere near what it would have been if I could have kept updating (with my posts on my servers).

Fuck all these big companies and what they do to the independent producers.

just make it as hard as possible for tumblr to realise you have a lot of blogs, use different i.p.s, ect. When they go on a banning crusade they'll miss some of yours, that's really the only way to do it there.

I give up tumblr and twitter:(

ianmoone332000 03-06-2018 04:04 AM

If you building adult blogs on tumblr & twitter, make sure you have built your own adult website and are directing that traffic over to it. I had tumblr blogs that tens of thousands of followers and woke up one morning and they were gone. It sucks

Wow that blows.

Were all the blogs under the same account, or did you use multiple accounts with different emails? Did you use a VPN at all?

I had a cuckold blog that linked to my website. It was two years old and had 440,000 followers on it, all organic. One day tumblr deleted it with no explanation. I messaged them and they said it just violated their TOS and that was it. I had links from photos and GIFs that went to my website but that was it.

I started a new one and I am back up to 56,000 but its slow going. Still, I get great traffic from it and its free so I will keep at it. Luckily they only deleted that one and not the other 4 I have. Never had a problem with twitter as long as you follow their simple rules.
