As one of the students recorded cell phone video, Brewton and the students plunged them into the water and sprayed them with a hose to kill them.

“When the raccoons tried to come up for air they had metal rods and they held them down with metal rods and when the raccoon would try to pop its head up they held water hoses in its face to drown it,” the mother said.

A Florida teacher has been removed from the classroom after he drowned “nuisance animals” that had interfered in his agriculture class, Ocala.com reports.

Dewie Brewton and his class had raised chickens. One of the chickens was killed by a wild predator and they suspected raccoons or a opossum was responsible. So they trapped the animals, and then placed the trapped animals inside a garbage bin filled with water.

In the disturbing video, embedded below, the students help kill the animals.

“That one’s, like, super, super small,” one girl in the video says of the animals. “That one probably didn’t do anything.”

The woman whose son recorded the video said that after they had killed the raccoons the students killed an opossum “just for sport.”
