Anyone here own a fast RC car?

Does anyone own a quality RC car. Looking for ones that can be used on a small circuit. Ideally with bumps, gravel, dirt, water.
Ones that won't break easily. Easy to fix and easy to use.

I don't own any fast RC car but would mind having this one and a girl that looks like her :2 cents:

My uncle runs a shop dedicated to this stuff in Canada. Not sure where you're from or if he ships.

the 5th one is just like the one I had in middle school

"Tamiya 58346 The Grasshopper RC Car" is the same buggy as the Tamiya The Hornet just different body's, I had a lot of fun with that as a kid.

I used to work in a hobby shop and spent way too much money on rc stuff. Some customers used to take it to another level i was getting tipped $300 for building hpi BAJA. now i have a smashed plane in the garage a lost drone and bags of tamiya and hpi parts but no cars.

2-3 of my neighbours all have these super-fast RC cars. One day the police came over and hung around with the kids while they showed them off. One of the cops even pointed his radar gun at a car to check the speed (61 miles per hour!).

If you want I can ask them for what they recommend the next time I see them.

It's a little business the wife and I were thinking of adding to our existing business.

We figure people will pay money to race these things around a track (home made, mobile) for 5 minutes.
We just need the right cars. We know nothing of them either apart from they need to look awesome, drive fast. Be easy to drive for kids 5-15+. Be cheap to repair if the crash but will take everyday abuse.

go to amazon and read ALL the reviews of different ones and when you narrow it down the search for them on youtube. This is how I purchase anything new that I don't know anything about.

This is how I learned about hookah 8 years ago and vaping a few mos ago. I don't just ask things on GFY

Sounds like a fun idea but if you are going to allow 5 yr olds to drive them then I would just go with electric ones that go up to 30mph cause young kids can't drive 60mph cars without wrecking them. Save the gas ones for those over 18 and can pay for damages if they do damage on purpose (have good HD video recording to watch drivers and cars to decide if it's an accident or were they trying to do things unsafe with cars)

I have a 1/4 scale Porsche 911 turbo in storage that i purchased as a kit in the UK many years ago, still trying to get time to build it. It came with a huge 50cc gas engine with a pull cord start so i am sure it will be fast. The chassis is welded steel with plate aluminum and looks to be strong enough to take anything i can chuck at it.

I haven't found any online so i suspect they no longer make them. You can find 1/5 scale starting at around $700 with a smaller 32cc engine but they are rare. I think mine cost around £1500 24 years ago thats around $2000.

Now i'm all excited to start building it, i mean who the fuck waits 24 years to build a kit ?

I know I was being sarcastic. I live in Northern Indiana so I know what snow is too.

You could get 1/5 scale truck and put a plow on it and it could handle 4-6" but you would have a couple grand in it..

But how about "topless plowing" You pay a sexy girl to stand at the picture window with the client and she plows your driveway topless while inside.. haha yes I'm that bored right now.

For something real fast, you need a big area wide open area else you'll smash it up in no time :)
For what you want, I'd go for this https://traxxas.com/products/landing/bronco/

I have the Defender version and its great fun and very capable. Its also fully waterproof/snowproof where most RC cars are only 'splashproof'.
Also has 2 speeds so can be pretty fast still but is a great slow crawler too and has locking diffs etc.
