It will get worse for kavanaugh from there. Weird that some people don't get that the FBI's job is to investigate. They know how to ask questions to figure out who is lying.

They (FBI) are merely finders of facts, many of which may not be released to the public.
The committee will be the jury, weighing those facts.
But even if they proceed, it still must be passed by the full senate and that is where they have a issue. Depending on what leaks out. And new allegations come forth.
I see no good end to this.
Trump should have put someone up that at least could get one or two votes on the left and this would not be happening.
But to compromise is a bad thing now-a-days. They have a full majority and can do as they wish. At least for another couple of months.
The lack of compromise and consideration will always create a large fight.
If not for the gerrymandered districts, republicans would be the minority.
Minority rules here in the US. Go figure !
It's looking bad for them in the mid-terms and I see a swing in the senate over this recent stage show as folks turn out in numbers this time. not many will stay home.
I just wish they were turning out for more independents and deny both sides a clear majority.
Then and only then will we see compromise and more truth in political speak and process. |
