Here's the GoFundMe for GFYer Grapesoda

Everything he owns was destroyed in the fire but for one camera, his phone & his dog. All other equipment, lenses, computer, clothes etc. was destroyed.

I hope that everybody in the business that knows or knows of Brian/Grapesoda will contribute in order to help him get back on his feet. Brian has been in the business for a long time and we need to stick together in these times of need. These fires are a horrible tragedy.

Jamie thank you so much, Im a bit overwhelmed by all this... support, stuff comes and goes. my dog is still freaked out. hasn't eaten and stays in my pocket all the time, even puts his chin on me when he's sleeping...usually he's a bit more reserved....

thank you, when I get a chance to edit them I'll see. I was hoping to blow then up and give then to the LA Fire Fighters that pulled us out in the chopper... hopefully for the station. I'm sure there are a bunch of great pics out there.

I can't even imagine how overwhelming it must be. Certainly Edward is freaked out and unsettled. He is going through the same as you as he saw it first hand too. Dogs are so smart plus he senses you being unsettled and stressed. Hopefully time will heal you both and you guys will be back in full force :winkwink:

I actually have no idea how to proceed from here...I'm not upset or anxious just clueless

No gear no job. I might get to up there today and get my car then I need to check with the owner about utilities however with no income its gonna be interesting

thank you so much, went to the doc yesterday. he is under the impression my injuries are in bad shape, he wants me to take pills, well not wants but can't believe I refuse them.

Im using color meditation and prayer to to work on my shoulders. seems to be working. slowly of course. hurts all the tine but Im used to it

I was more concerned with Buddy's attitude; he has a problem with some bigger dogs since he was attacked.

Out of curiosity is that last picture from after the fire burnt through or had the fire already burnt some stuff before you got away? Any idea how close behind you it was she you got the airlift? Seems very close in that one picture with the fireman running. Crazy stuff, lucky you got a air life like that, I can only imagine how bust those guys were.

killer is pretty cool he ignors most dogs, it's the little dogs that cause all the issues

here's the thing about any image I create, Im gonna cheat the lens to make it more dramatic. Im a pro shooter... the fire might have have been 60 yards, to the side but I swung the lens around when I was running and framed the fire in the shot to create the drama.

the fire coming up the road was different.., the heat from the fire was really hot and thats the fire I was running from. those fire fighters were some serious mother fuckers.

the hill I live on runs east west with the slopes facing north to the valley and south to malibu. the hill is maybe 300 yards long east to west and and varies north and south from 60 to maybe 80 yards down to 30 or 40 yards. I live on the east end close to the middle.

the fire came up the north face right at my place, the chopper took us off at the east end.

im good thank you, I don't let my head get too involved with day to day drama. stuff that happens is just stuff that happens. my head and my heart stay cool... mostly it's kinda puzzling :2 cents:
