The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is releasing from custody more than 2,000 border-crossing adults and the children they arrived with over the course of a few weeks.
A DHS official confirmed to Breitbart News that the U.S. Border Patrol and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency is releasing more than 2,000 family units caught at the U.S.-Mexico border, citing a lack of detention space.

The border-crossing adults and the children they arrived at the border with will be released and given a court date for an immigration hearing. The adults will be given ankle monitors, though the DHS official says the process of keeping track of border-crossers via ankle monitors is not effective.

Border Patrol and ICE are experiencing major issues with detention space at the Yuma, Arizona sector of the border, as well as in San Diego, California, El Paso, Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley sector of the southern border.

The DHS official said there is not nearly enough bed space for family units at border detention facilities, while Border Patrol encounters about 2,100 border-crossers a day with more than 60 percent of those adults bringing children with them in the hope to be quickly released into the interior of the country.

There are a number of services and charities that help these illegals assimilate. Trump didn't notify them that he's dumping all these people on the street at the same time and where he's dumping them or when. That's the main isse.

Another issue is Trump is dumping large numbers of them at the same time, instead of at a steady pace. He's trying to make the system fail and cause people to suffer. He likes people being in destress and suffering.

Trump ended catch and release. This means when we catch them we don't release them... Which means - you guessed it - we have to house them. We need to put them some place until they can work their way through the legal system. The entire immigration system is backed up and it can take months to see a judge. Now because of Trump while they are waiting to see a judge we have to house them. And feed them. And clothe them. And give them medical care.

We used to have a system called "catch and release". When we caught them we would arrest them, give them a court date, and release them. Trump ended this. Now we catch them and lock them up. We house them, fed them, clothe them, and give them free medical care.

I am pretty confident that Yuma, Arizona, and El Paso, Texas, are not sanctuary cities.

Our policy in the past was "catch and release". This means we arrest them, release them, and hope they show up for a court date. Trump ended this. Now we have "catch and house". We are in fact housing them - in jails and detention centers. We arrest them and house them until their court date. Being as the legal immigration court system is completely backlogged this can up to three months.

Now the problem is the amount of people are housing is quickly growing - and they have no where to put them. So now.... They just dump them off at bus stations.
