Filming on location?

Hello, all!

I currently have an all-text (stories and articles) web site that gets about 3,000 unique visitors per month. I started it about 10 years ago and haven't made any updates to it in awhile, but I already have some photographic content that I intend to post soon and I would also like to start posting some video content on a Clips4Sale page, which I can then drive traffic to through the original site.

The thing is, the niche content I want to produce isn't something I can just shoot in my living room. I need suggestions on how to create the content that I need. I have a background in film, and would like to be able to use that experience, but I don't know how a location would respond if I approach them with "I need to rent your location to shoot what is essentially porn." I suppose I could try and conceal that fact, but most locations usually want to see the script first, and I would want to be honest and show them what I'm actually planning to shoot, so I don't know how well that would work.

All of the sets could be manufactured at a studio, but I don't have anywhere near that kind of budget.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

You say you want to be honest, so be honest.

Tell people in advance what you want to shoot at their location. If they want to see your previous work give them a URL where they can see your previous work. And then hope for the best. You'd be surprised at how many locations have no issue with adult.

Some of them prefer to have some way of possible deniability in case people recognize their location in film in the future.

I filmed at my chiropractors office and a restaurant next to my studio. They all knew in advance what I was filming and none of them had issues with it it was all about getting paid and leaving the location clean & neat as it was when you got it.

Make friends in the industry. I've had friends shoot in my house for the past fifteen years...

exactly as others have said above...

there´s always a location and place available with an owner of a premises or vehicle allowing you to film porn in their property.

Boats, cars, swimming pools, bars, hotels and restaurants, and of course, homes, whether you´re after a sea, town or forest view, you can search and you will, maybe sometimes after a struggle, but you will find an owner of what you´re looking for who is happy for porn to be shot.

In our situations, we´ve been very lucky, as the owners usually have just asked if they can watch the porn being made, being on location when we´re shooting...

villas with private pools, boats, cars, bars, garages, even shops, some owners have said to go back after closing time, others have said they´ll shut shop!

4 some fucking in a huge garage, the shop was closed for a girl girl scene and the garage out back was used after they closed and the workers had gone home :)

Good luck with your search :thumbsup
