Google call screening is fucking genius!

I have a Pixel 3 and have Google's new call screening in place. When somebody calls me I can answer it, or let Google answer it and see what they tell me "personal assistant." If I like what is being said I can answer the call, hang up on it, or report it as spam.

I fucking love it!

Real friends and companies begin to say something meaningful and I answer it.

Spam callers either hangup almost immediately or do so once the assistant is done telling them why they are getting "her" and not me.

Yes, the old way was working too. Swipe down, then see what they said in my voicemail. But there are times when I have an important call and now I can begin chatting with that person right away. And most spammers won't take the time to talk to Google assistant so I don't have a bevy of voicemail spam either.

Maybe Google should buy the US Govt?

Well it took fifteen or so years but I guess this could be the return of "Pick up the phooooooooone! I know you're there."
