Louis is being eaten alive by the left.

Don't give a shit what anyone says,

Louis is funny as fuck (even when his opinions don't align with my own, he's still funny as fuck and a true genius).

Comedy is one of the last bastions of free speech.. Really hope he weathers the outrage. (In a world, where words and "wrong think" prompt every aspect of your life, including your family to be attacked).

Ps,

Bladewire.. Eric has already warned you once about your instant response spam shilling. So whatever you do, stay vibrating and fail to carry on.

He should just be as offensive as humanly possible as a troll. It would be the opposite of what everyone expects. And he would have an audience. One of the world's greatest comedians shouldn't be sitting around in social exile. He should be on stage doing his thing.

I agree. You only give these shits power if you apologize and curb your behavior. Now is a time to be fearless

Well fucking put.

Couldn't agree more. Dude is a comic genius.

tony286 01-10-2019 07:45 PM

This I agree , he was never mild. Also he asked permission to jack off in front of them. He had no power of careers he wasnt a kingmaker. They just lumped him in.

I know right..

"Don't move, my dicks out and I'm jacking it"

Paralyzed, can't stop staring at ginger sausage :warning

Also weird that Asia Argento started that whole thing and ended up paying some kid off who she fucked, to keep quiet. Or had poor Anthony Bourdain pay it rather.

Loved me some Bourdain too. Miss that guy.

Sid70 01-11-2019 07:56 AM

He is one of the best comedians, the key word is 'comedian', comprende?

Bladewire 01-11-2019 10:08 AM

I feel it's stupid to attack comedians.

The right relentlessly attacked Whoopi Goldberg when she was in an interactive relationship and almost ended her carrier.

Remember when the right attacked comedian Kathhy Griffin? Her Trump head joke was a flop and Republicans wanted her dead.

Thing is, you can't selectively defend C.K. Louis and condemn Whoopi or Griffin.

Comedians are supposed to be edgy, sometimes they fail. Comedians are supposed to be flawed people, not perfect role models.

From what I know of Louis, he asked permission before anything sexual. Sarah Silverman watched him jack off. She defended him. The right is latching on to Louis as a martyr for male sexual dominance. Lame. Al Franken anyone?

The right wasn't there for him. The right has a very specific agenda and it's not to unilaterally support commedians, performers, etc. on a solid moral or ethical stance, it's to support only those who fit their agenda and fuck the rest to hell. That's the difference between Republicans and everyone else :2 cents:

Blocked alt-right hate fake nic reply in 3... 2... 1...

Diomed 01-11-2019 10:44 AM

Only you, grotesque shill that you are.. Would try to compare these two and muddy the waters.

The left eats its own. Period.

Keep shit real - authentic - human, and the right will support. If your a robot, it won't.

Christ your creative skills have gone to shit. #desperation

Buh bye.

Hypothetical question:

You are a new, up and coming stand up comic and you get a big break to perform at a comedy festival. After your set one of the biggest, most popular stand up comics in the world invites you to their place a little later. You go, assuming they are having a party or get together of some kind. You arrive and find our you are the only one there. The comic then asks if you mind if they jerk off. You say you don't mind if for no other reason than you think they might be joking. But they aren't and they start jerking off in front of you. Would the thought cross your mind that if you get up and leave, this person might be vindictive and try to damage your career simply because you don't want to watch them jerk off?

Good point.
Here's my counter: I'm a grownup. And in the entertainment business. In the scenario you described we are all probably a little fucked up: drinking and recreational drugs.
I'd probably watch him jerk off. Laugh about it. And never give it a second thought again for the rest of my life.

I would wonder why that person is even thinking about trying to be an entertainer and a stand-up comedian if they are "offended" that easily? Doesn't sound like being in showbiz is for them.

And not because they should have to endure the "horror" of another entertainer acting weird and jacking their cock.
It's because they SHOULDN'T be horrified in the first place. Matter of fact...if they were true showbiz people (and not wannabe "marks" trying to fit in), they would have loved that whole scenario and used it in a "bit" by telling the story of Louis CK fucked up and jerking off for their own show.

Or, maybe they saw it as sexual harassment.

If you are in the porn biz, someone jerking off is normal. If you are a stand up comic, it is not. Had he just told them some graphic jokes or even told them stories about sexual things he had done in the past, no problem. But I can see how someone could be in that situation, not like it, and not leave because they are afraid of the repercussions.

Of course, we are all different. You would have laughed it off. They didn't. People are allowed to respond to things differently.

I'm not saying Louis should be banned from doing comedy. I think he is very funny. But if people decide they don't want to go see him or they want to heckle him, so be it. The market speaks.

I'm telling you...I traveled on the road in a band for decades. I saw way more than just jacking off.
Yeah, maybe to "civilians" outside the entertainment industry it would be weird. But "sexual harassment"?
LOL. That's for marks. Not real carny's.

A REAL comedian would have not only watched the whole thing...but would have taken notes on it when they got home so they wouldn't forget anything.
Then they would incorporate the story of Louis CK jerking off into their comedy routine.

I know you don't see that. But I'm telling you...whether you play in a band, do stand up comedy, travel as a cowboy in a rodeo, travel as a pro wrestler...whatever aspect of entertainment you are in...you see some wild shit.

And pro's laugh it off.

Robbie

In the real world, 98% of people go to work to do a job, not get asked to do sexual favors, especially women.

Adapt or die old man.

I'm well aware of how the entertainment industry works. I wrote for a music magazine in the early 90's and have spent a lot of time around bands. I am of the opinion that it is okay to want to be in the entertainment industry and not want to watch strange dude's jerk off. My point in all of this was in response to Tony's post saying Louis has no power. That is just wrong. I was trying to point out that because of his status in the industry he has power, potentially a lot of it, and when you have that people put up with shit they normally wouldn't. Sometimes they do it because they want something from you. Sometimes they do it because they fear you or what you will do if they don't.

You think if people don't either just forget about it and move on or use it in their act (something that could cause them a lot of trouble potentially) then they don't deserve to be in the entertainment industry. I don't. Fair enough. We disagree. It's a free country.

Dave Chappell said if Louis jacking over the phone killed your dream. Then you really didn’t have one. All comics knew about Louie’s jacking habits. Also she could of said no and walked out of the room. Louie could of stopped no one from working, if you are funny you will work. Comics are very self contained not like actors, which is why train wrecks still make a living. I worked for a while as a standup. There was never a more fucked up, angry and miserable bunch than comics. I remember once the bartender at the comedy club I Mc,’d lost it and quit at the end of the night. I thought it would be fun to work here but you are miserable motherfuckers. I worked at a rock club with live bands. Musicians were horny fun people, comics were very very dark for the most part.

Good post Tony. And Chappell is correct.

You condemned them both.

Redhats only defend the comedian that wants girls to watch him jack off at work. Why is that?

I defended Al Franken and far from a redhat. https://www.thewrap.com/louis-ck-def...-has-suffered/ She is a huge liberal and feminist and got into a fight defending Louie.

You are an idiot

As if women on the right approve of a guy jacking off on front of them at work.

It's really sad for you that your mind has deteriorated so much. You actually think sexual harrasment is a political thing. You are so stupid.

Except you dipshit libs all crucify the guy for making a joke about genders. Spin it whatever way you want but the left is against free speech. You will not find people on the right trying to shut down a comedian from performing at a local campus. Which is quite strange because if you go back 20 yrs it was the exact opposite.

AmeliaG 01-21-2019 07:31 PM

Someone doing something to himself in front of a woman or saying something is really really really not the same as unwanted physical contact or professional retaliation for being uninterested in his dick.

Also, how about making things about issues and policies, not whether someone is wearing an R or D team jersey?

So if a male producer jack's off in front of his first time female talent, or says rude things to her, that's ok, according to your analogy?

I agree D or R doesn't matter fuck them all :2 cents:
