Any comments or opinions on XYZ domains?
Come across the xyz domain that is out there and was wondering if anyone has heard much less had experience with them.
Is it worth getting into and what do you estimate the value of using them. Understand the xxx domains but another option which I am aware is widely used and accepted in the UK market - will it be something worthwhile for North America and beyond?v |
I've got some I bought for $2 each.
I'm using them as feeders (tgp, cj tubes etc) in my network. No problems with them, haven't tried to rank one. Worth noting that .xyz is the 4th biggest domain pool after .com .net .org. |
They're about as valuable as .info's
|
Use them in your link wheel. Very affordable.

So I take it that the value isn't or is high on the XYZ domain?
would anyone buy it for these reasons? |
google won't index them as they are throw away domains

google ranks them as any other tld... they just have to be built correctly, as google instructs any other domain to be. Doing a quick search I found this https://www.namepros.com/threads/xyz...t-all.1048588/ |

I stay clear of them.

Some people think some of the newer suffixes take a while for Google to decide how spammy they think the average site on them is and that impacts SEO.

If you plan on using them, for nefarious means such as borrowed content, the XYZ folks will kill your domain. :)

Popular keywords non adult that have registrations in dot net and dot org are rather solid. 99c is the draw card but there is better value to be had with other tglds depending on the keywords. The renewal fee will effect the long term many will register try flip and drop.
Right now the extension is doing very well and is likely to survive. |
