Amazing that the miniscule 19% that voted for Trump is given so much sway in society to project hate & ignorance.

I would love to know how much he got.

Never seen such an average player get more hype. Guy had one good season with the 49'ers and then went to shit.
I bet he is making more now than he could have as a player. |

He signed a $126 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers in 2014. So I'm guessing way higher than that. If it had gone to trial and the NFL lost, the low end settlement would be : - normal contract of $126M - punitive $126M (fine = loss) - Treble damages 3x(126+126) = $756Million That would be the lowest I would expect if I was the NFL defense attorney. So I would have no problem offering $200M to settle out of court but would probably have to add $100M to that because Kaepernick's attorney would want 1/3 of settlement for his fee. So I figure he got $300M but $100M goes to legal fees. AT LEAST! I say at least because no juror who paid attention would think that $126M is punitive to the NFL. Rather then being punitive to the NFL, that would be a joke. You really have to get over $1Billion to be reasonably punitive to the NFL. In 2017 the NFL distributed more than $8 billion in national revenue that was split among the league's 32 teams. Bottom line : As long as Kaepernick would accept under $1Billion is was a done deal. :2 cents: |

If the average Joe tried to take a knee during his job he'd get fired. Well, the same thing sort of happened here except that he didn't get fired for taking a knee, he got fired for being a shit QB. |
^^^nobody is against him protesting? You sure?

$80 million plus attorneys fees paid. Good for him :thumbsup
The NFL did him wrong and he had proof this is why they settled so quickly and for such a high number. |

The guy demanded 20 million to play in the new AAF league. So he has no problem waiting for bigger money. :2 cents: |

Wait wait; lets just make up some news like the media: "The settlement dollars were two White guys". :1orglaugh |

The guy also signed a deal with Nike worth millions so no need to settle a case for $80M when he could just wait to see if he could get more. Your sources are speculating just like the article says, and there's a possibility that they are simply "leaking" a low number to the press to save face. :2 cents: |
