He's right for the most part. But you dummies are helping big corps by keeping illegals here with sanctuary cities and fighting anything that has to do with keeping illegals out. And yes, YOU / Dems love illegals. You fight a wall that amounts to a damn rounding error in government funding to build. And you would fight any other real measure to keep them out because you want the votes and you want the power.

When Obama was President, they were all about building the wall and keeping the illegals out.

Actually he is right on the money. Fuck your wall, and fuck your wasted breath arguments. Capitalism loves illegal immigration. Today's American Capitalism loves a slave workforce. The owners are the people you are working for on here.

You push the owners agenda everyday.

Personally, I am 100% for curbing illegal immigration. But I am 100% convinced it will never stop.

Half truth. Obama and the dems did not want a Trump like wall. They wanted to beef up our existing barriers and more money for tech and agents.

on another note... just about every democrat I talk to say that we should be arresting more business owners who employ illegals.

The reality is, that most corporations and big business owners are republican.

Ehhhh, I think you're misconstruing things.

I see a lot of people saying this same thing, and I disagree. I think _EVERYONE_ is on the same page with illegal immigration. Go through the proper channels.

What the Democrats want is to stop with the inhumane side of it. When the big bad caravan was coming few months ago, everyone was up in arms and the Republicans were shouting to stop them before they get to the border, while the Democrats were shouting "Isn't the first step of becoming a legal immigrant, literally coming to the border and applying?"

If you find an illegal immigrant in the country, they should be deported. Especially if they are criminals.

But a mother and her child fleeing a corrupt and cartel owned country for a better life in America where she and her child will work often terrible jobs for minimum wage or lower, to build herself a comfortable life should not be thrown into prisons and treated like they murdered everyone.

What bothers me the most about the right side's approach to this is that all of our illegal immigrant problems stem from the handful of MEXICANS who walk across the border illegally, and not the white billionaires and other above poverty illegal immigrants who come here on travel visas and overstay their visit.

Good comment :thumbsup You sound like someone who one could actually debate with.

However, it gets complicated. A mother and a child, would bring very little to the table and may end up being a financial burden where as able bodied men, who are persecuted by folks on the right for not staying in their country to fix things there, would be worth more to the very people who would want to employ them here.

I actually agree with republicans that requesting asylum is abused by most of those seeking it. Only around 4% of those seeking asylum actually get it and the others are turned away. I believe that process is working, and all the people who cry foul at the migrants are actually getting what they want on that particular issue.

While I identify as a Democrat, I don't hold any allegiance to any political movement other than humanism. Because of this I often seek truths from both sides to form my opinion. Just so happens in current political climate, I lean more towards Liberal than Conservative.

It also helps that I work online, which is an echo chamber of liberal ideologies but live in a very conservative area, so I get to talk to both sides to form my opinion.

All depends really. I've never really met many Mexican immigrants who seek to abuse the welfare system. They often have no problem working laborious jobs for low pay, just as long as they can be paid for their work.

We as a society in America depend heavily on immigrants, but we feel they are below us... Which makes no sense.

But how do you explain all the democratic run sanctuary cities? There are no republican run sanctuary cities.

Just look at this mess:

Why is there even such a thing?

I used to believe that if they are here and not causing trouble let them stay, but imo that's major mistake. They all must go. There are so many here now (30 million) they are changing the fabric of society. I know there are some that come here and want to work but hispanics as a whole are lazy - 38% are on government assistance. That's unacceptable. And with their insane birthrates there's no way we can't support that.
