People aren’t playing around when it comes to spoilers for “Avengers: Endgame.” The movie, that might be the biggest movie of all time, has got fans doing whatever it takes to not have the movie ruined for them. Most people are honoring the code of silence, letting people watch the movie before discussing it. But some people just want to be jerks and ruin the movie for everyone. That’s what one unnamed man did after he watched the movie. And for his flagrant offense, he got served and beat up for spoiling the movie.

The man in question was just finished watching “Avengers: Endgame” in a movie theater in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, when he decided to be the worst person in the Marvel universe. According to Asia One, the man started shouting spoilers at the fans waiting in line to see the movie. The people got pissed and some of them took it into their own hands to serve this idiot some justice. The man got his comeuppance and got beat up and bloodied. As a result, he needed medical attention and will forever be known as the guy that got beat up for spoiling “Avengers: Endgame.” The photo of him knocked down on the ground is being circulated all over the internet, reminding people of the consequences of giving away spoilers.

“Avengers: Endgame” is the culmination of 11 years of Marvel movies. Before the movie came out, the directors, the Russo Brothers, sent out a letter asking people not to spoil the movie.

“Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help,” they wrote. “When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.

“Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.”

It’s messed up that the guy got beat up, but the man deserved the beat down. Don’t spoil movies. It’s a lesson he needed to learn the hard way.

Avengers: Endgame smashes box office records with $1.2 billion opening

t’d been a forgone conclusion for months, but now it’s official: Avengers: Endgame has smashed global box office records on its way to a 1.2 billion dollar opening weekend (!).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Marvel blockbuster grossed $350 million in the US and $859 million overseas — including $330.5 million in China — all of which are records.
The previous high water mark for a global opening was Endgame’s predecessor, Avenger: Infinity War, which opened to the tune of $640.5 million. It should be noted that Avenger: Infinity War did not open in China initially.

However, even without China’s inclusion, Endgame surpassed the global earnings of Infinity War by over $200 million. It also took Infinity War 11 days to cross the one billion dollar benchmark, compared to the five days it took Endgame.

Now, the question becomes whether Endgame can top the highest-grossing film of all-time, Avatar, which earned $2.78 billion globally.

If anyone would save me at least five dollars I'd be more than grateful . . .
