US President Donald Trump has sued two banks in a bid to stop them handing over his financial records to Congress.

The lawsuit against Deutsche Bank and Capital One was filed after Democrat-led committees issued subpoenas for information on his finances.

His three eldest children and the Trump Organisation joined the lawsuit, which argues there are no legitimate grounds for investigating his business affairs.

Leading Democrats said they would not be deterred by the blocking attempt.

A Deutsche Bank spokeswoman told the New York Times: "We remain committed to providing appropriate information to all authorized investigations"

There was no immediate comment from Capital One.

Imagine if Bill Clinton and Hillary had done all this during whitewater and all those bullshit investigation ms the Republicans did.

Imagine if Hillary refused to be interviewed over the emails and so on...


Yet they didnt, because even though everyone knew it was a witch hunt they respected our laws and balance of power because they respected America..


Meanwhile we can say none of this about Trump... only guilty people try to fight so hard to cover stuff up. If Trump had nothing to hide nothing to be scared about he wouldn't be fighting so hard to ignore our laws and our balance of powers..

The conclusion us obvious Trump is guilty and Trump doesn't respect our laws or our country.

if a dude has an investigation going against him and he tries to block records from coming out he is doing so because:

1) he is guilty
2) he is guilty

This is what Trump has always done.

He sues and delays the lawsuits as long as possible after they've been filed to run the clock out. He delays by filing is many motions as possible, changing out his attorneys and asking for continuances, etc.

In business when he did it after while whoever sued him would drop the lawsuit because the cost of having an attorney month after month year after year, before the case was settled, ended up being more than the actual value of what they were owed by Trump.

Trump's federal consumer class-action fraud lawsuit for Trump University was the third longest lawsuit on the docket in San Diego court history. Trump ran the clock on that lawsuit and dragged it out for 10 years and only finally settled for $25,000,000 right before becoming president.
