Germany today reminds me of old nazi germany

Quote:

German official warns Jews against wearing kippahs in public

Anti-Semitic attacks in Germany have surged in the past few years. Last year, an attack on two men wearing yarmulkes — also known as kippahs — on a street in Berlin caused widespread outrage in in the country.
Read more: https://www.dw.com/en/german-officia...lic/a-48874433

So sad to see Germany move towards the wrong direction. German government officials and media keep reminding the population about the horrors of nazi Germany yet the society reminds more and more of that period.

You know the stuff you keep seeing and reading in documentaries and history shows.

Germany has religious freedom which means:

Quote:

Freedom of religion in Germany is guaranteed by article 4 of the German constitution. This states that "the freedom of religion, conscience and the freedom of confessing one's religious or philosophical beliefs are inviolable. Uninfringed religious practice is guaranteed."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedo...ion_in_Germany

I don't see any of these guarantees of freedom for religious people going on according to this news topic.

Germany fails to uphold their laws of freedom and the state are unable to protect Jews practicing their religion.

What a bunch of Nazis! :2 cents:

Germany officially warns the Jewish population of wearing kippah with risk for being targeted with antisemitic violence and racism.

Germany surrendering!...:2 cents:

German analysts and experts have come up with a few causes of this increasing hate crime towards jews:

Quote:

Analysts say the rise of far-right political groups in Germany has also contributed to anti-Semitism in the country. Parties like Alternative for Germany (AfD) openly question Germany's culture of atonement for World War II. Some experts also attribute the new wave of anti-Semitism to the arrival of millions of asylum-seekers, mainly from Muslim-majority countries such as Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq.
interesting...:2 cents:

I hope you realize that it's Muslim immigrants who are doing all these "anti-Semitic" attacks.

Not actual Germans.

OP learned well from the Trump ministerium of propaganda - use some true facts and then mix them up with a bunch of lies and sell it to the public :error

Whoever likes to get a bit closer to reality is free to read this with Google translate:
https://www.faz.net/aktuell/politik/...-16210949.html

And just to correct the main lie of the OP - not "Germany" warned about wearing a kippa, the head of the German Jews did.

Same guy who in the article above says:

Quote:

Schuster said that the direct verbal or even physical threat to Jews is "always coming from migrants, often with an Arab background". Overall, however, right-wing extremists are responsible for the majority of anti-Semitic offenses.
For the record: Any Muslim who violates the laws of religious freedom, that they also profit from, is free to leave the country and I fully support "helping" them to leave if they don't go voluntarily.

But that people like the OP now pretend they are all suddenly friends of the Jewish culture, while simultaneously being the biggest threat to them - as the overall crime stats clearly prove - is a joke.

What disturbs me is that the people making these comparisons weren't even born when the Nazis were in power. I was a child during the war and even I'm not comfortable comparing the bullshit of today with those monsters.

The facts are that Jews have been hated in Europe for hundreds of years and it's never going to change. Finally most of the Europeans that are attacking the Jews today are Muslims and the communists

Todays politics are becoming rather scary. Populism never ends well.

Jews are being attacked in Germany because the far right thinks it can get away with it.

The UK political situation is also very dangerous. When populist tub-thumping pub bores are calling the shots there is clearly a vacuum of leadership and ideas.

Populism is very attractive whenever it rears it's head. Why face your own inadequacies when you can blame foreigners or minorities ?

Leaving the EU wont fix the structural problems of post industrial post Empire Britain. Blaming China and Mexicans wont fix the US.

The EU is the biggest market for UK products and services yet we act as if they are the devil. China could be a massive market for US companies, but the Orange child indulges in a populist trade war.

The west, led by UK and US, is self destructing. NATO is under threat and Putin stands and laughs.

Very scary shit.

Jooooooden, jooodeeen (jewsssss, jewssss).
But that must have been because i was wearing a shirt with AMSTERDAM on it
Supporters from Ajax Amsterdam are always reffered to as jews.

But i can see in many countries that people are feeling more favour of Palestina.
I took an airbnb in Brasil and the host had in his text "Free Palestina".
He had some jews as guest, but they also wanted a free life.

with reasonable people you can have at least have a reasonable debate - but when you say "the table is blue" and the other person insists on the table being white despite it being blue and insulting you for questioning their statement, how can you debate with someone like that?

alt right playbook:

Flip racism. Call the opposition racists. It enrages them due to the hypocrisy, it will lead them to waste more time 'arguing' against you instead of focusing on more important issues or arguments you can't defend. On top of that you white wash the word racism opening the doors for you to get away with casual racism going forward.

Once you figure out the strategy, you start to figure out who you should be ignoring. Trolls can't argue a point so they troll to waste time instead.

I am sorry, but you are "eating up" the official politically correct statistics. Here is a NY Times recent essay. You follow the first sentence, I tend to believe the rest :2 cents:

NY times article ( excerpt ) May 21 2019:

Police statistics attribute 89 percent of all anti-Semitic crimes to right-wing extremists, but Jewish community leaders dispute that statistic, and many German Jews perceive the nature of the threat to be far more varied. Slightly more than half of Germany’s Jewish respondents to the E.U. survey said they have directly experienced anti-Semitic harassment within the last five years, and of those, the plurality, 41 percent, perceived the perpetrator of the most serious incident to be “someone with a Muslim extremist view.”

Fears within the Jewish community of what some call “imported anti-Semitism” or “Muslim anti-Semitism” brought into the country by immigrants from the Middle East and often entangled with the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians emerged after 2000, when during the Palestinian uprising known as the Second Intifada, a wave of anti-Jewish attacks rippled across parts of Europe. The large-scale influx of refugees into Germany from countries such as Syria and Iraq that began in 2015 further fueled worries. Amid the early wave of pride many Germans felt over the welcoming of refugees, Josef Schuster, the head of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, the country’s largest umbrella Jewish organization, urged caution. “Many of the refugees are fleeing the terror of the Islamic State and want to live in peace and freedom, but at the same time, they come from cultures in which hatred of Jews and intolerance are an integral part,” he told a reporter from Die Welt

maybe you are used to have "political correctness statistics" but believe me germans do not have that.

of COURSE the jews in germany do not want muslim refugees and help a lot to spread this fake stories. and of course the right wing got a lot louder and more offensive after the refugee problem. it is easy to scare someone of something he don´t knows.

it is the same thing what happend to you and all those who are blind for all and everything that goes against your right wing mission.

It doesn't take anything away from the fact that someone like the OP presents himself as the defender of the Jewish people while sympathizing with the group that is responsible for 89% of the antisemitic attacks against Jews.

This is a problem for Germany and Europe and you already know very well that Muslims are far more protected that anyone else.

with reasonable people you can have at least have a reasonable debate - but when you say "the table is blue" and the other person insists on the table being white despite it being blue and insulting you for questioning their statement, how can you debate with someone like that?

Your twisting and distortion debunked!

Instead be worried about the development in Germany...:2 cents:

In the Dutch article is stated that the German government gave the advice. Fake news????
Almost all Dutch newspapers said it is an advice of the German government..

https://www.rtlnieuws.nl/nieuws/buit...ppel-afgeraden

"De Duitse regering zegt dat het niet verstandig is als Joden overal en altijd in Duitsland een keppel dragen. Vanwege het toegenomen antisemitisme kan het dragen van het religieuze hoofddeksel gevaarlijk zijn.

"Helaas moet ik dat zeggen", aldus Felix Klein, die namens de Duitse regering het antisemitisme in de gaten houdt. Hij deed het advies vandaag in een interview in een aantal Duitse dagbladen."

The German government says that it is not wise for Jews to wear a keppel everywhere and always in Germany. Due to the increased anti-Semitism, wearing the religious headgear can be dangerous.

"Unfortunately I have to say that", says Felix Klein, who monitors anti-Semitism on behalf of the German government. He gave the advice today in an interview in a number of German newspapers.

this is klein´s statement - decide by yourself if you stepped into the fake news trap

Quote:

By 2018, the number of anti-Semitic crimes had risen sharply nationwide. The most recent annual report on politically motivated crime showed 1799 cases, 19.6 percent more than in 2017.

The anti-Semitism commissioner, Klein, said he had wanted to shake things up with his statement. "With my provocative statement that - unlike in the past - I could not recommend that Jews wear a kippa anywhere and at any time in Germany, I deliberately wanted to initiate a debate about the security of the Jewish community in our country. Of course I am of the opinion that nowhere in Germany should there be no-go areas for Jews or members of other minorities". Politics and society would have to recognize the undesirable developments to which he had referred, and would not be allowed to accept them under any circumstances, Klein continued. "I want us to see the fight against anti-Semitism as a task for all of us."

And just to correct the main lie of the OP - not "Germany" warned about wearing a kippa, the head of the German Jews did.

Same guy who in the article above says:

So the German government said it (see post above). Wasn't fake news than.
And than back in his political correctness role. Just shaking things up (populist).

I must say that i am not surprised it is getting up. Now we have social media since 10 years.
Way easier to find racist post than listening on the streets.

if he said that native Germans shouldn't ever have any pride in themselves (which he kind of did), you'd be with him all the way :2 cents:

of COURSE the jews in germany do not want muslim refugees and help a lot to spread this fake stories. and of course the right wing got a lot louder and more offensive after the refugee problem. it is easy to scare someone of something he don´t knows.

it is the same thing what happend to you and all those who are blind for all and everything that goes against your right wing mission.

i am quite happy that i belong to a nation that left the nazi time behind.
your lesson just begins.

".....Jews help a lot to spread this propaganda..." Not only you are wrong but also sound as an antismite..:2 cents:

unfortunately this is true. and it shows more than enough how brainwashed the world is.
i have an old friend that is also sharing all this garbage and in the last 3 years he shared ONLY PROVEN fake news.

what we can see at the moment is nothing new.
it is a very old way to use people. hitler did it, sokrates did it and the best knowing example is: …ceterum censeo carthaginem esse delendam - every speech of Cato the older ended with this sentence and the result was the complete destruction of karthago.

in the past 70 years we have learned when advertising is advertising but with the internet and social media we lost this overview. everybody can tell every lie and deform the truth.
most people will not even mention that they got fooled.
