its kinda strange that they are imitating the original actors in every possible way...

It's pretty cool, but it would be even cooler if it was Jim Carrey's voice too.

I know it's very clever and that it means we need to be wary about fake news announcements tc, but I'm sorry to say I don't really see the point?

It's not Jim Carrey. It's Jim Carrey's face, made from tens of thousands of Google Images, laid on top of and mapped to Jack Nicolsons face. Thats why you see Carrey's face, but Nicolson's performance.

Now that I think about it, Jim Carrey would be a perfect choice to play Jack Torrance if they ever did a Shining remake...which no one should ever do, of course.

I know! Some how, some comedians make for fantastic dramatic actors... I didn't really like Robin Williams comedy movies, but he was great in "24 hour photo", and this weird sci-fi movie where he edited dead peoples dreams (Sorry I forgot the name).
