Say a prayer for an old school webmaster & program owner
Old school webmaster & program owner Brett Jennings drowned Monday night during a kayak incident on a small lake. On Facebook his sister said his "prognosis is devastating".
I have a great story about Brett.... We used to through a "bikini bash" for my birthday every year at my house in Phoenix. Things always got out of hand. One year we woke up and discovered our frying pan was in the pool. These was before the day of cell phone cameras, but nearly everyone there had a camera on them, well, because all of us were pornographers. Over the next few days we figured it out through the pictures. Turns out Brett flew down from Washington state, showed up late, and had a lot of drinking to do to catch up with the rest of us. He couldn't find a tray so he ransacked our kitchen until he found a frying pan, and used the frying pan to serve shots.... He poured and served shots for the rest of the night, drinking one shot for every shot he handed out someone else.... Eventually we found the frying pan in the pool the next morning. Good luck Brett! https://scontent-sjc3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...dc&oe=5DEB0F4A |
So So Sad. Brett was an awesome guy. We hung out a lot at the older shows and had some good times.

Thanks for the unrelated drinking story and confusing everyone if the guy survived or not.
WTF. Being White and drunk is a "great story" in America. But being a drunk Mexican means we need to change the immigration laws. :helpme OH wait; was he drunk when he almost drowned? :uhoh |
He almost drowned, still alive

Allow me to clear up the confusion.
Brett is in fact still alive and fighting for his life. Brett did in fact "drown".... "Drowning is defined as respiratory impairment as a result of being in or under a liquid." In most cases when you drown you die, but in this case he was in a small lake and was rescued before he died. From his sister's FB.... " Brett had a tragic accident and drowned while on the lake of their family home" Sorry for the confusion. |
sad to hear

He almost died from drowning but luckily he survived. The fact that none of the Trump supporters posting in this thread know the definition of drowning confirms what fucking remedial retards you all are :1orglaugh Wiki drowning Drowning is classified into three types: drowning with death, drowning with ongoing health problems, and drowning with no ongoing health problems. To most people, drown means die. You can drown and be resuscitated. The initial post inferred death until the sister comment.
Best wishes for a full recovery. Hopefully he wasn’t under long enough to sustain brain damage or lung issues. |

Have any of you gone white water kayaking? Even in class 1 rapids it can be very dangerous. I did it for 2 years and learned to respect the power of the river.
My last ride was in a class 3 course and I got stuck in a hydraulic. It's terrifying because the water is so powerful and it keeps pulling you back in. I had to bail, swim to the bottom and ride the current out (which isn't easy). And drowning is on my to 10 lists of worst ways to go. |
sad news :Oh crap
|
Hope he makes a speedy recovery
|
Thanks for the drowning lessons, guys . . .

Is it too late to trade to Rochard for Brett?

I read on Facebook that he died. They took him off life support. Was he not wearing a life jacket? Did he not know how to swim? I think it was just a canoe in a lake.
