How can I get a NON-adult subreddit on the front page of reddit?

It's a sub that I haven't done anything with but I've now got some free time and I'm interested in seeing where it might go.

It has 25 people subscribed so I'm wondering if there's a way to get it to the front page or some other trick to get subscribers.

There's no tricks. You need organic growth to make it to the front page and many many more subscribers.
