Scam Alert ! Australian Dating site Buying traffic will charge back after receiving traffic
 

Here how the scam going, Buyer buy Large amount of traffic with bank issue Credit card.
Once the transaction go through he set up his campaign and start receiving traffic.

The same day He filled a charge back for non authorise transaction (NOT with paypal but with his bank).

So 3 - 4 weeks goes by.....
Finally Oct 5 Paypal charge back our account :321GFY
So I have provide paypal evidence of the client receive the service he pay for ( Screen shot stats of traffic etc... ) will see how this goes.

We are in very good standing with Paypal We dont Ever have charge back, so there is a good chance we will win this shit :1orglaugh

Stop even hoping. You will 100% for sure lose the dispute. There is no chance. You could provide a video of him holding up his ID, then buying the traffic and inputting the card data, provide GEOIP data, ips, emails him saying he's happy with the traffic and literally anything else you can think of, and you will STILL lose the dispute. Paypal won't even dispute the chargeback with the bank on your behalf, and if you ask for proof they disputed anything they will ignore you or say it's against their policy to provide such documents. Since he is disputing it based on it being an unauthorized transaction, you even more so have zero chance.

That being said, maybe it's just a carder and it was the real card owner that CB'd?

Possibility Yes, i agree. One day i filled a dispute with paypal and they have decide to pay BOTH party. LOL

BUT they told me too dispute, chargeback, etc.. all issue with your account Right or Wrong can get you Limited or Closed account.
They call it problem account and they don't care much to shut an account down.


Do i need to add this to my deposit process : Restricted all account and request a HOLD Your id in front of camera beside your face and sent us a clear print of it LOL. Hopefully not, unless more clown like this show up. From now on will keep an eye closer on those Paypal transaction.

From now on users that want to pay with CC will require to send valide Picture ID matching Credit card.
( I can't beleive i need to become one of those company :ugone2far ) but it's time to implement this.

Now i understand better why some sellers require this because that should protect the sellers against Bogus unauthorize transaction claim. Well Lesson Learned :)
