your perspective is cool but I disagree, most of my closest friends are women but boys are so fun to par with. I like being quiet sometimes and men don't ask me to talk as much. re Dave I don't know him obv but I get the sense he is just himself, which requires amazing courage sometimes. dude isn't an act. he's 'just' brilliant and funny. his ability/talent is a powerful weapon

but yeah, loving and needing female friendship in my life doesn't mean my dream night out isn't almost all male.
