Do you dual boot?
How many out there have a dual boot system? Do you like it?
I recently had to install windows for some software I needed at the time. I didn't use this software often so the dual boot was not that inconvenient. I have recently purchased a few more programs and seem to spend more time in windows now but really do not like it for programming. I tried the virtual boxes from both windows and linux, however I do run into some issues with some software that runs better from the hardware specific drivers and not the virtual box drivers. Thinking of pulling the linux hard drive here and replacing it with another computers hard drive and run 2 systems and not split my day or constantly reboot. Curious how many run a dual boot and their thoughts on it versus running two systems.:winkwink: |
Yes I run linux as my main os, but I still keep dual boot with Windows for when I need it. For example I needed to use Windows to update the firmware on my monitor recently.

I'm lazy and prefer just running 2 boxes, then use a switch for the monitor(s) :upsidedow

Nope, Linux-only since 1998.

I went 100% linux around 2012, I like it much better.
What's your favorite Linux distribution? I started with OpenSuse and used it for a few years then discovered Linux Mint. Once I had gotten use to it, it became my favorite. |
