Yeah, its silly really. I just wanted to ask for something really simple to join 2 thirty second clips together into a one min video, without needing to download and install a total 'overkill' editing program.
Then I find 'Windows Video Editor' that's already built in, and I think, that will do :) So I join 2 1080p 60fps clips and I get one that's 1080p but only 30fps... It cant do that...
So I try 2 4K clips at 30fps instead, but it will only render 1080p 30fps, so that's no good either...
Eventually I end up with DaVinci Resolve 17, which works bloody perfectly with EVERY resolution, but is still total overkill for my needs !
Never mind - Every day is a learning experience. I wont say that I 'learnt' DaVinci Resolve... I didn't need to learn it... I just learnt that I wasted so much time trying to simplify something that didn't need to be simplified that I have wasted my time... :( FML...
