Yes and No. She really shouldn't have taken them onto set. Its a performers personal responsibility to ensure that they are 'clean' before shooting. Its not like they just popped up overnight. She must have known. Or if she didn't know, then she SHOULD have known.

I mean its not hard. My wife, who appeared in over 500+ scenes over a 5/6 year period never caught anything, nor passed anything on, because she took care of herself and her vaginal health. As far as I'm concerned that should be a given for any girl who was shooting on professional sets.

No one can really stop another person from doing drugs if that what they choose to do, however a producer can decide to not shoot with a person. Therefore, the fault ALSO lies with the producers. I mean, yeah, shit happens, (no pun intended) but had that happened on one of my sets, it simply would never have seen the light of day.

I would have killed the shoot at that point, and never released the footage... News of the warts would have been passed through the professional grapevine to warn others, but certainly not released to the world at large. :2 cents:

I did have one 'On Set' Drug story and it was published on AVN as part of my wifes monthly column she and I wrote, but using wayback machine makes it difficult to find, as the AVN page of 2004/2005 is havey flash based and so I cannot navigate it in order to locate it. However it was very mild and funny. Not career ending.
