To this day, I am amazed at how many of my problems - most of which had nothing to do with drinking, I believed - have become manageable or have simply disappeared since I quit drinking.

One second, one hour, one day at a time.

It's deff true, not a daily struggle at all. There were some bad days for sure.

I got clean in Narcotics Anonymous, That's why I say im sober, not clean, cause I do smoke weed.

The trick is to not consider beer as alcohol :thumbsup

I'd probably largely switch over if it was legal here, but in a place where it's illegal once you are out of highschool/20something age, it gets alot harder to find weed.

being in porn and growing weed helped with connections. I'm still buying from the same guy for over 6 years. being a webmaster or coder isn't really being in porn to me.

Congrats. I had an 18 month sober streak from booze from Christmas 2019. Unfortunately, the streak ended after 19 months. I'm back on the wagon as of three days ago and will go at least through 2022, but hopefully I give it up for good.

A few things, the urge to drink goes away whether you drink or not. That's the thing to take to heart

32 years ago for me using was worse. That has never changed.
