For me its hard to tell because most of my bitcoin investments came is as payments for fixed priced assets and services. They paid in bitcoin.. It wasn't like I was investing xxxx every month. What fucked me over is taking 8% loan from Coinbase to buy etherium at $4500. I bragged to my brother how easy it is to make money and did it for shits and giggles. Literally. This was my very first time buying anything on margin. I paid it off as soon as I saw it tank, so I saved on interest.

ANAL PASTE 01-21-2022 05:52 PM

Thrill is there. Im buying. :1orglaugh

Zuzana Designs 01-21-2022 05:55 PM

I've taken a lot of payments in bitcoin and crypto as well. I'm just holding on and waiting for the market to get better. Thankfully I don't relay on that money and fell bad for anyone that does. Fingers crossed it will get better. Maybe I'm crazy but I have been buying in on projects I feel have a future during this bottom

OneHungLo 01-21-2022 05:55 PM

BTC will probably be back to 60-80k in 3-6 months.

Everything is down. S & P 500 taking a huge loss in the past month. Basically wiped out any gains from 2021.

Fun times!

I have been buying my grandkids stock slices for Xmas, birthday, graduation. January 3rd everything was tits. Today down more than 9% YTD

All S&P another week like the past one and the portfolios will have less value than what I paid for it

I feel incredibly lucky to have picked up a 3090 at MSRP.

candyflip 01-22-2022 08:35 AM

I'm down 50% over the last 90 days (i'm a serial hodler), but I started buying in 2013, so my head is still WAY above water.

You are one of the many victims of a complex of "greater fool" fraudulent schemes.

I'm leveraged, too. Low enough amount of leverage to survive a 60% crash. Oops. Now I'm 10% away from being liquidated and sweating hard about it.

btw, you can get way lower interest rates on AAVE. ~3% vs your 8%

Trying to reduce inflation and get people back to work?

NFTs have kind of scared me away for putting more in crypto. Greasy celebs pushing NFTs is a turn off.

Hilarious pic. There should be another caption : a bump on the road will be labeled "POLITICIZING ECONOMIC TURBULENCE"

I suspect the Fed will keep FUNDING BUBBLE AFTER BUBBLE until the global economy blows up

Unbelievable you still cherish the dollars, hate to break it to you, with that mindset you'll be broke in no time. In 10 years your value will have decreased by half.

Probably the least intelligent take in months. Everything on that garbage post has been debunked. But hey, haters gonna hate, and that Sohale guy is an idiot :1orglaugh

Sorry I meant MY gains for 2021, not the year in general.
I bought into the S&P in September.

jscott 01-26-2022 11:03 PM

Daily/weekly/monthly is for view noobs.

Unless you're trading leverage, but then you're probably overall rekt.

Real money makers pick the best asset and wait for years/decades. In crypto that's easy because there's only one truly decentralized.

luclonely 01-27-2022 08:06 AM

no more handouts, people need to withdraw their investments to spend.
buy PUT on every ticker on the DOW and you'll be a big winner

Go ahead then. Without linking to some rambling Youtube of crazy nobody is ever going to watch, or Medium post written in green crayon, explain what's incorrect and why.

The fact that is basically just an excel spreadsheet is debunked? The fact that bitcoin was manipulated to get where it is is debunked? I think a lot of people invested in crypto don't even have a clue what the blockchain is. Too many people have drank the kool aid of everything is going to crash and only those with digital currency will be left standing which is pretty laughable. its the only "cope" a lot of crypto boys have. what is the end game for bitcoin? its done basically nothing for 10 years now. Sure, i wish i could of banked on bitcoin back in the day but the people just buying now are going to feel the hurt later. the ship has sailed. there will be a lot of people losing money if/when the ship sinks.

I've done this too often already. If you haven't learned by now then you probably don't deserve to.

People always panic when this happens...crypto markets dip down all the time. Buy when it dips down. Hold until it bounces back stronger... if you don't have faith it'll come back up (eventually) you're in the wrong market.

Now is the time to accumulate more. Don't panic lol.

OP, stop crying and hustle harder… you didn’t lose anything unless you SOLD FOR A LOSS.
