Happened at the Academy Awards tonight.... Chris Rock made a comment about Will Smith's wife, Will Smith walked on stage, punched Chris Rock in the face, and then walked off.... Damn.

I thought it was an act until he started yelling at Chris from his seat after slapping him. Most talked about Oscar moment ever?

Based on Rock's reaction it looks like a scripted slap to me. Rock could have made much worse jokes about Jada than her bald spot. :1orglaugh

I still think it's staged but Chris Rock's joke was in bad taste since she shaved her head because of a condition. That would be like making that joke about someone that has cancer and is bald.

I didn't watch it but it was all over twitter. The fact it happened at the start of the show was most likely to get people to tune in

Hard to say what is staged or not these days...but if it was real, it would mean Will is mentally unstable. Probably all Hollywood actors are...I mean you can't be normal, if you pretend emotions for a living.
