New to this. Would love mentorship on launching a gay porn site!
Hey Team!
I'm pretty new to this. I've always wanted to work in the adult industry. I've even applied for jobs but, despite (I promise) high qualifications for sales, marketing, operations, etc etc, I haven't gotten any calls back. I've decided today, after finding gfy.com, that, the hell with it, I want to start my own porn site! My plan, so far, is to build good2cum2.com into a personal portfolio of some of my favorite porn to, ya know, cum to. Unless you suggest otherwise, I'll create heis.good2cum2.com and sheis.good2cum2.com for gay and straight audiences, when I decide to try to promote and share it beyond personal use. (I don't intend for personal use only for very long. I want to spread the love/cum! So far, my discoveries have led me to building it with the help of TMD hosting (or Hostwinds), and utilizing wp-script to source embed codes of great content. In your experience, have these been worthwhile or necessary? Would you recommend alternatives? I want to be a student to the craft! Any advice you're willing to give, I'm all ears. Thanks and thanks in advance for the encouragement to pursue this noble journey :) |

not sure if i´m right, you´ll have to check with tech and seo guys. But i think to have the 2 sites as good2cum2.com/him & good2cum2.com/her and you direct traffic there from good2cum2.com as the main index with buttons guys or girls.
also can you not drop the second 2 to make good2cum.com or even better goodtocum.com is available... just those 2´s could get lost on the typo and you lose traffic. :2 cents: welcome to the zoo :thumbsup |
Welcome to GFY!

the traffic guys will know best, but i think splitting into subdomains is extra work. you have to rank multiple domains. [i think] subdomains work best when you already have a high traffic main domain for backlinks.

Well for starters on a gay URL or any URL you need to try and make it so that it's easy to remember but also something that easy to share.
I worked in the gay industry for 6 years many years back and one thing I found is that straight men also visit gay sites - so if you're buying traffic don't hesitate to include some straight sites - you'll be surprised. Please make sure that if you're writing - find someone that is gay or sensitive to their way of life. They can spot fake posts and writing a mile off much less the phrases and terms used. When shooting or creating content please remember that there are different classes of desires within the community eg. bears, twinks etc. Advertising - Cybersocket was huge but recently their site and magazine I believe stopped and now is run by https://gay.fleshbot.com/ but Cybersocket still has it's online awards that you may want to look into for exposure. [email protected] Yet outside of that - make sure you're content is of high quality - and also see if you can do something with https://www.badpuppy.com/ they are wonderful and been around a long time. |

when your website is ready, I can help you make it popular by ranking top on home page a single video that include a promotional link to your website, the video will be ranked top on boyfriendtv; a very popular website in the gays porn industry that receive millions of visitors monthly, this means that millions of users will discover your website
